The build looks decent, ive never heard of that case before. All the price also looks decently priced too so overall i think ur build is worth it.

edit: the 8350 isnt that bad of a processor tbh.

It's a good choice, your only let down is your graphics card really. However, if you're planning on 1080p for some less demanding titles you should be set for the release of pascal.

Only looking to run OSBuddy clients on this PC, I'm afraid. Don't even need the GPU. The 8350 can hardly run 6 whereas the i7 can process 12 clients like nothing.

That sounds strange to me. Maybe the client doesn't take advantage of the surplus cores the AMD CPU has. As a developer, I know that sometimes when building multi-threaded applications, you can only support CPUs of a certain number of cores. If the client only supports up to 4 cores, then obvious the i7 will be stronger, but if it supported up to 8 cores, the 8350 should have been able to keep up.

Anyway glad this is working out for you.

i7 is double the price of a 8350 so of course its going to be better than the 8350. Its a pretty good cpu for like 150 dollars rn.

If you're dead set on Intel, I have the 6700k, not too much more in price I don't think, but easily worth it.

Though with this, the LGA socket is 1151, so you'll have to change mobo's. (Z97 is really great)

The Oldschool clients can't handle multiple cores, where hyperthreading comes into play, or so I've heard.
