The only problem is that it takes more fking ammo to kill the raiders than they drop. Those guys are fucking tanks. I swear I can shoot a raider point blank in the head with a shotgun and they still live

I ran off what I looted for a while (I still have a ton of like .38), but I've been buying most my ammo from shops. Pretty much anytime I open a shop, I buy out their ammo of what I use (mainly 10MM and .308 alongside missiles just incase)

Upgrading your guns will help ya save ammo and just make enough $$ to be able to consistently buy it w/o worrying about running out

Played 10 hours now, I don't know what you mean by there being no ammo, I've never run out :S Might be because I use about 5 different guns tho

 

idfk man it's like I never have anything, I have so many guns and so many types of ammo, and there's no way to tell how much ammo I have for each of my weapons until I equip and exit out of pipboy, which is annoying because it means I'm switching for 5 minutes just to kill a raider or boss guy in the middle of a fight because I've fking run out of ammo again...... I wish it would tell you inside pipboy how much ammo you have for each weapon.




also, I just figured out what VATS is... I've never played any other FO game, so I didn't know that was a function in the game. I'm saving more ammo being able to land more shots with VATS too so it's not so bad anymore. Still though, it's like I never have enough to survive a prolonged fight.

Put a hardened receiver or something like that on your guns so to get the most out of each bullet

Automatic weapons can be nice but they really aren't viable long term as I agree, you have to be buying some ammo too although the prices make it hard to do sometimes

 

Anyone else exploiting sanctuary by having a ridiculous amount of water purifiers so they can sell the excess purified water?

 

Try adding a level to the 'Scrounger' perk? Might help you out in the long run.

 

I've been exploiting Castle for that tbh, all the water pumps in that ocean makes for ridiculous amounts of purified water.

i've only just gotten the castle since i basically set up sanctuary and then bailed out to go see the world lol, i've seen some dope pics though of people "repairing" the place with walls and that though

 

So I found all the ammo, it's with the brotherhood of steel quest line. One quest and I got 300 fusion core(?) ammo, I forget what it's called, the stuff that powers the laser weapons

 

Also I haven't even considered repairing the castle walls, that's what I'm going to spend all day today doing I think lololol

 

Fuck it, I'm going to buy F4. It's probably won't melt my brain like agario lmao

 

Ok so.... Can you only have a limited number of conduits in your base? I'm trying to set up laser turrets in the castle, which as you know already has prefabbed and extensive wiring and electricity when you find it. I have the materials to build conduits, but it doesn't let me place them, it doesn't even appear in green when I select it. I can still build pylons, towers, etc., just not conduits. I was able to build a few, but it suddenly stopped letting me.
