I think it'll be a very good match. Southampton, and Pelle especially, are a bit out of form whereas United are on a roll. Gonna say 1-2 Utd

still not convinced with united this season (from a united fan) but should be able to see off a wobbling hampton', although they've still been decent in defeat the last few games. Fancy RVP to bounce back from a horrible run and kick-start his season here.

 

Kind of Agree with Rooney back from his injury going to be hard for Southampton but I still think they have a slight chance of winning today.

been an upsetting weekend of football, so this one could go either way as well, but i'll be taking united on my acca at those odds..

 

For me this has to be Man U, even though they have been poor away from home this season they a firing at the moment and Saints have hit a brick wall i think. maybe 3-1 to united.

 

you shouldn't use the abbreviation 'Man U' when in conversation with united fans, very derogatory term with connotations of insulting the Munich air disaster.. just a heads up.

honestly think this will be a more scrappy game than the fixture suggests.

Manchester United are starting to pickup. They've sorted some of their issues out but eh...

I reckon they'll get the win though!

 

falcao confirmed to only be '20 minutes fit', so he'll most likely come on as a sub towards the end, if at all.

On Topic - I'm glad United won last night, despise Southampton and rate LVG, glad it's starting to work out for him.

 

Wouldn't exactly say its working out for us, because we're still playing terrible football.

I was hoping for a draw or Southampton win. :<

 

Southampton played better nearly all game and probably deserved a draw+. United were lucky to get the two goals they did.

 

Goals win games. It doesn't matter if you play the Barce way, 99% possession and win 492-0 or have 2 shots, 2 goals at St. Mary's on a cold Monday night, you get 3 points. It's working out in my opinion.


And what's the reason?

 

but for someone who had a season ticket and still attends 1/3 of the games, I want to see us play good football rather than just win games. The 2-1 over Arsenal was a genuine shambles, totally shit.

Under Fergie we played fast, 442, counter attacking football. What are we playing under van gaal? I actually don't even think we have a tactic at the moment, its just go out and hopefully win.
