I'm going to make a YouTube video put to some music about how I went into this classroom and the guy asked who believed in God, so then I shot a lightning bolt out of my finger and killed him to prove I was god.
 
Even if it did happen, I still think the professor made an error which caused the chalk to slip out of his hand.
 
I have two choices? No. I'm not going to pretend I didn't see this and I am not going to pass this along. I guess there are more choices than just athiest and christianity eh?
 
Great, another Christian trying to spread their clueless religion. Maybe they should put this in the bible as well, so many more idiots can feed off this bullshit, which a lot of the bible is. Ya, the chalk slipping out of his hand could of easily been a coincidence. He's been working there for more than 20 years, you don't expect that shit to happen once? I don't care if that's what you believe in, that's cool, if that's what keeps you going, and keeps your faith striving, then so be it, but this video has just made me hate the supposed "Big man above" when i had no care or hate against "Him." Thanks man! :p

So basicly something that was possible such as the chalk not smashing happened which shows that God must exist... Well I just flipped a coin and I announced that if it was heads God existed and if it was tails God didn't. It landed on tails so I guess it MUST mean God doesn't exist. Anyway what makes the fact that God didn't exist for the 20 years that the chalk was smashed any less meaningful? Kinda strange to change the view due to a single outcome don't you think? I would say that the lead goes to the 20/21 smashes imo...

Isn't it more probable to accept that it was a mistake anyway since it ONLY happened once in the twenty one times he tried it? If it happened every year without fail no matter what he tried or anyone else tried then yes I could start to understand why people might hold some faith in it. For example if they would have thrown the chalk at the wall and magicly a bird swooped out of nowhere catching the chalk and landing it safely on the ground then yeh I could go for that... but this? Come on if you do anything enough times you are bound to get an odd outcome!

This is pretty much the same as the people that claim the world will end every year due to some God and their punishment. One year it is going to happen and it can't be helped. But just because you have failed to predict it every year does not mean that the one year you get it right proves that God exists.

I have also heard this story with so many variations that I am really starting to doubt that it even happened in the first place...

But if this happens to open your eyes to... Well I am not really sure to what... Probability maybe? Then I guess you should flip a coin a hundred times and see how many times your God exists and doesn't. For all those firm believers don't use a double headed coin...
