i never knew this but thats stupid considering there are about 20 bots are frost dragons in every world.. i think that if they didnt make you wait 60 seconds more people would be reporting bots
And Everyone saying "your a noob cuz your reporting bots" or "get a life"...
i use to never report bots but now its ridiculous how many bots their are and im just fed up with them crashing the prices so w/e go ahead and bitch and moan about me reporting bots but that wont help
 
I'm fine with reporting in the GDK section. I've known this thing for a while and they should reconsider the number of seconds before the second report at the time like this (botscape).

Yeah that annoys me too when I am trying to report multiple bots.

I get really frustrated not necessarily at the crashing prices of things, but even just the overcrowding there is in every training spot for a great number of skills.

People that bitch at you for reporting bots can suck a dick. I report bots, but don't bot myself. Even if I did, though, I would report bots.

If you bot and report bots, than that is just hypocritical, if you don't bot and you report bots, that is fine in my opinion.

Frost dragons are packed, but I can't bitch about it because I bot.
 
The problem is those people posting proggy's botting for 48+hours and making it look like botting is safe.

I have literally seen this posts where people are trying to convince legit players that botting is safe to do, that reporting them doesn't do anything, i srsly don't understand why would you possibly want more people to start botting. For fuck sake can't they see that it affects the economy&ruins the game and ends up affecting them self.

Only one word for these people: They are fucking retarded.

Oh and don't get me started on gold farmers, i don't give a fuck if you have 8 bots running in a vps keep it to yourself.

I bot, but i don't show off or try to convince people to bot, if this keeps up Runescape will be ruined or Jagex will finally do something once and for all.

Sorry if this is a lil off topic for you Zerk Perk but this is the reason why there are so many bots.

Most people that don't bot, I believe, are jealous at those who do. Out of 20+ accounts that I manage or have managed, I've been banned for a combined 14 days and reset twice. True that botting has been more and more predominant since the release of free trade, but without it, runescape would be dead, and Jagex knows it.

Let's not forget that runescape is a very addicting game, now i don't know about you but when i was younger i was pretty addicted to runescape, kids between 11-17 find runescape to be much fun for them and they do play legitimate. Without bots i believe people will slowly be starting to play legit as there is no other option.
 
I'm fine with reporting "certain" bots.

Such as Frosts, sorc garden, stuff like that.

But the people that report people that are in SW, PC, alching/fletching/herbloring etc at SW bank shouldn't be reported..

They're not fucking with the economy besides helping to increase demand for certain items such as nats, yew logs, herbs etc.

report the people running bot farms, and are doing it for profit, leave the people who are only working on skills alone :P
 
If players got the right click ability to report bots then people would do it. It's the fact that you have to write down their name/memorize it in order to report them and it takes more time.

anyway, I report bots too. The gold farming bots have really screwed up the economy. It wouldn't be bad if each person had a couple bots running but these gold farmers run like 50+ at a time.
 
There's been a 60 second report limit since I can remember.

I hate people who boast, period. If you have a 50 account gold farm, keep it to yourself.

Lastly, all large rpg games will have bots. It's pretty much inevitable.

The 60 second timer is pretty stupid but without it could you imagine how many reports would come through? Couldn't imagine how much of it would be useless spam too.

I report bots because there are to many stupid botters that are obviously going to eventualy get banned anyway. Yes I bot and report bots..

Ditto, this game would be dead. Sad yet true but bots drive this game, always have always will.

I report mass bots, like the 20+ wearing the same armour all the in same spot. However, it's not like I expect my bots to never get reported.
