Which operating system do you run?

I'm developing a few Runescape-related programs and am curious as to what my limitations are in terms of a target audience. I'm curious as to which operating system you use to play Runescape, or to use any Runescape-related programs.

 

Windows 7 Home Premium. (64 bit).

 

I use Windows 7 on both desktop and my PC. I reckon most people would have either XP or Windows 7 with some people with Apples OS.

 

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Voted, it seems the majority of people use Windows 7 these days. Some may still use XP and such though. I think you should aim at Windows 7 mate.

 

That's specifically what I want to see, how many are using XP and other OSes. I'd love to start taking advantage of Aero Glass in my programs, but unfortunately XP/Linux/Mac won't support it unless I recode it (whiiiich I'm not too keen on, haha).

 

I agree with Laptop, the best OS to aim for would be Windows 7. Nobody uses Windows Vista because its rubbish but people still use Windows XP, but not as many when compared to Windows 7.

I reckon more people would be running xp than Mac OS.

 

Do it in Java and make it multi-platform

Btw I don't think anyone uses Windows 8

Lots of people are using the Windows 8 RC. As for programs, it's a secret I'm basically going to try to get everyone off Garyshood and onto something updated and better.
