How long does it take for a payment to clear via paypal?
I know you can file a claim and then close it, but I just want\need to know how long it takes for a payment to clear via paypal.

If you are talking about an e-Check, it varies depending on the country and bank it's coming from. Some take as little as 3-4 business days, others can take as much as 10. If you're talking about a normal payment, they technically "clear" instantly; that is, you can access the money immediately. However, this does not mean that the payment cannot be charged back. Paypal themselves consider a payment to be irreversible only after 180 days, although most chargebacks occur within 1-2 days of the payment.
