Thinking of starting wow again

How much gold should I buy? How easy is it to train now? What class should I make? I'm just looking for someone to explain shit for me because I haven't played WoW for 3 years.

I just started playing again.
1. Don't buy gold, gold isn't very important and if they find a gold seller they can trace everyone that person traded with and they will ban you.

2. Training is super easy you will see when you start playing.

3. Whatever class you want.

 

Levelling racks in a lot more then it used to.

Guilds have perks for 10% exp on everything now so it's easy to level, roll what entertains you.

 

Doubt you are going to need much gold from the start, basics will do the job until you are high level

 

Started a pally, level 65 now. And you guys are right, didn't need to buy gold.

 

buying gold in wow is legit dumb lol, just train and u will find your way lol

5,000 to start off your leveling. You may want more at 85 for enchants, flying training, gems and whatnot but hopefully by then you will have a firm grasp of the game and have figured out your own ways to make money.

 

Don't buy gold, it's too risky and there's really no need. You make over 10k gold from leveling 1-85, not to mention collecting profs like mining or skinning which will net you even more. Pick up something like jewelcrafting later on and you can make a lot of gold easily (I make around 5-10k a day with JC @ 85).

Training is easy, 1-60 is all set out with quests in the same areas, making things a hundred times easier than it used to be. 58-68 is still a shit hole, outlands needs an overhaul. Once you get on to wrath, you start to make serious gold just from questing

Play whatever class you want to be. There are no right or wrong answers here.

 

Yeah I have had an account banned for buying gold (must make me the only person in the history of wow to which this has happened).

The only thing with leveling herbs mining (dont get skinning it's gimped!) is that you should pick them up early and level them while you quest, else you will have to go back to starting areas and play catchups which isnt all that fun.

Pick skinning! I quit WoW about 2 months ago but when Cata came out and for a while after it (not sure about now) I could make 1000g whenever I wanted to and normally I'm terrible at money making in WoW

 

Its easily the worst of the three gathering profs, herbs has a constant need from raiding and mining from BS and Engi (I think engi has been the #1 prof in terms of benefits and popularity for a while now)

 

Thanks to mining bots, JC makes some serious money if you know how to do it well. Made me a few k in a matter of hours with minimal work, mostly just waiting on auctions

 

Yeah I was thinkin' bout picking JC up after I hit level 85 for the stamina gem.

 

Don't buy. Its easy as to make your own money. I started from scratch on my latest account and i made like 12k real quick once I started making transmuting gems through herbalism. Its kinda slow though. I dont know about know, but there was a 20 hour cooldown on making epic gems.
