Thinking about taking a year break off of schooling

Thats what everyones told me but i know ill go back. But even if i dont go back i still think ill do decent in life lmfao

 

Based on your responses it doesn't seem as if you're coming to us for advice, you seem pretty dead-set on pursuing your livestreaming dreams. Plenty of us have offered our opinion from several different angles, most in-line with your friends, yet you seem to be trying to defend your initial thought process. Best of luck with whatever you decide to pursue.

 

Im not saying im dead set. One of my thoughts was to go to school and do it on the side but pretty much everyone said to do that or go after my dreams.

 

"go stream, or go after your dreams"... you either have some mentally retarded friends, why would they say "attempt to stream or go after you dreams".. it's like starting a YouTube and saying "man i wish i was huge". it's a process, every day you don't start something, you lose one day of doing it.

IF streaming is what you want, fucking do it, Do not stop until you're at where you want to be, shoot for the moon and land in the stars.

 

Its hard to stream without internet. Thats why hopefully i can get a part time job to help my bills while i go after it. If not atleast college will have internet lmfao

 

Stay in school and just graduate, the longer you wait, one day you'll realize how better off you would be if you would have gotten a degree, doesn't matter what, just any.

 

Kind of hard to make it as a streamer when 90% of the big streamers are viewbotting. Just my 2 cents.

 

I highly doubt the top streamers view bot. Why would you view bot and risk getting banned when it wont really effect how much you make. Like it isnt worth it.

 

Don't recommend quitting everything to stream :\. At least go to school part-time, don't take a semester/year off, you'll be so behind.

 

Literally just going to re-iterate the majority of opinions already presented here - Stay in school. I have enough friends who took gap years before Universities or took a semester or two off and they really struggled to find the motivation to go back to School. I got offered a year contract at my casual job and was really considering it for the money, but I knew I'd really struggle to ever go back and finish my degree, so declined.

 

Hm, well i just found out that i can get payed to go to college. I currently get social security and everyone is saying that if i go to college i still get it. Then i get money from scholarships and the fafsa and all of that good stuff. So pretty much id be getting payed to go to school. I could attempt streaming on the side and stuff. But the only problem i see with that is the college that seems right for me is the party college so that could be a bad thing. Thanks everyone for the replays actually helped me a lot. Pretty much came up with, im going to go to college but on the side attempt for my dreams so encase it doesnt work out i dont become a bum and live on the streets.
