    Santa Hats

I thought Santas were going to rise before Christmas, but somehow today Santas dropped like 800k, and its already December. They were rising steadily during November so I'm confused. Aren't rare holiday items supposed to rise before the holiday that they represent?

    Please comment :)

There is a santa discussion thread in the rsof. Based on that, they are going to rise after 1 or 2 more negative updates. (right now they are only 100k below mid). They might get dumped close to/on/after christmas though.

well, from my experience santa hat or green hween mask , will always stay between 80mil-110mil,so if u bought it 90mil or so,then dun worry too much about it , u wont lose alot unless u buy it for short term investment*

800k isnt much, santa hats do not fluctuate very much and when they do end up dropping or rising it is onyl for a day or two by ~2m and then the return to their state. they will continue to do this until they are dumped, i am not sure when they will be dumped and am not sure how far they will drop. probably not back to where they were at 13m, but im hoping they will drop to at least 30m, i have been wanting to rebuy one for quiet some time noe

You're right in that they don't fluctuate wildy, but I have a hard time believing they will actually drop back to 30M unless there is some serious groundbreaking update, and even then it is doubtful. But every year it is different, I don't think the season really applies to prices anymore.

The prices don't always rise because of christmas event being close but rather the fact they the prices do fluctuate regularly with santa hats, they can drop or rise extreme amounts.

Santas haven't risen consistently during the past few christmases.

There's always a small crash before christmas, and then a small rise after; but no real hoarding like it used to happen.

In the long run they will go higher and higher, they will never be back at 30m ever again not even 60 or 70m, sometimes they drop a bit but always rise, have you ever seen them at 110m before these last few months? No. Just like you wouldn't have ever seen them at 90m before when they reached that for the first time a few months ago, they keep rising in the long run.

This is true. As long as PVP statuettes exist, rares will rise in the long term.

You should not put your money on seasonal items,
There are too many factors you can't take into account.

Santas arent fluctuating as much as they use to due to the release of the clue scroll level (4) rewards. This gave merchers and rich people the oppurtunity to exploit prices on new items that would change rapidly.
