or being able to carry 28 plates of armor in a normal bag

I feel your pain. Currently going for 99 range on my pure. Im 88 right now and the grind is killing me. Using perf fighter at nights and its still taking forever.

 

The way you can't scam anyone these days. I loved the 1mil trick back in the day, I got about 90m a week out of it and it was good fun and you never got bored of it. Miss those days.

The removal of old wilderness, this really changed how I play Runescape now.. I used to love the fact that I could be 11 years old(no, I wasn't immature), and still trick people into going into the wilderness, and blitz / ddsing them for mills. I just loved dropping the 10k, running back and seeing the person run for the money, which looked like mills, then blitzing. lol, sorry that I'm not typing in very good sentences, but I'm tired atm. ^_^.
I also miss scamming ingame, because it was good fun for me, and real life friends. One of my old best friends had two computers right in the same room, and we would get an uncommon item, like Monkey Nuts, and we would find someone that looked fairly rich, but not too smart. He would say "Selling Monkey Nuts, 5m!" Then I would PM our target, asking to buy Monkey Nuts for 15m.. Idk, the old RS was just A LOT better . :'(

 

Agreed, thinking back to staking in duel arena and real pking.. probably my favorite online game ever.

Jagex. Those 'tards all of a sudden decide to make mint cakes "a SLIGHTLY more common drop". Apparently twenty times more frequently means slightly, hell you can get 10 cakes from one delivery now. Oh, and they offered no explanation for this, but I know it was solely to punish me and a few others for circumventing their genius methods to prevent RWT and sell thousands of the cakes for trade price+$. Well gf Jagex, your next update with the slayer equipment allowed to make back all the money i lost and more in a week by selling staffs of light and hexes and such for trade price+$. Also, those noobs can't program for crap. Every update comes with a fair share of fairly major bugs and ever since I started playing rs back in 2004, I have not been able to guarantee that my character will run in a straight line from point A to point B without randomly reversing on his own path or getting stuck behind a rock. Also, not to be selfish about the mint thing, but I certainly wasn't the only one to lose a lot from that update. There were people in-game, truly honorable non-RWT people who had invested in mints because they were a legitimate form of currency and they too lost billions in street value. Thankfully there is the good community at Sythe to fight against the fools at Jagex.

 

The fact that they make everything so secure that if you forget a small detail, you don't get your account back.

I especially hate the crappy pking drops and +1 item worlds because i used to smite-heal lure.
