    Theory
    I had a theory that September the 11th was chosen on that day because it would look like 9/11 which corresponds to 911 which is the police number for americans. Recently in United Kingdom it was the 9th of September which would of looked like 09.09.09 which could also look like 9.9.9 and corresponds to the English police number of 999. For some reason I thought this day something could happen in the United Kindgom, the English version of 9/11.

    It didn't, but it was my thoery.

    It had nothing to do with phone numbers. The terrorists needed a specific day that the whole attack could happen at once.

    pentagon.

    Nothing to do with the day, just the flights arrangement.
