Explanation of the trade: Glacier was to take an account he previously serviced of mine from Quest Cape to Achievement Diary cape + 85 construction. He estimated a time frame of 6 months and agreed upon payment of $350. Details shown below. Apollo agreed to MM the service. Glacier was provided 560m and 12 bonds to complete the service. I gave him a significant amount more GP than was required. Realistically - 60-100m would have sufficed, but in good faith I believed that he would use the additional gp for boosting his slayer experience rates with good gear. This did not happen.

How they scammed: I checked the hiscores and wiseoldman.net and noticed that nearing the end of the 5 month mark, he was way off completion and infrequently played on the account. On further investigation I found that he has been doing several hundred Callisto kills per day, totalling over 6000 in one month. None of these had any relevance to the assigned task.


When asked why the service had not been completed, he could not give me a good reason and was giving me flippant responses by replying with emojis, saying he needs 2 months more - which I did not agree to without establishing exactly what these two months would be used for, to which he also could not answer. During these talks, he continues to kill Callisto.


I have asked him why he was doing Callisto KC and he claims it was for ‘slayer tasks’ but he has not gained any slayer XP in the last 2 weeks (all data is viewable on Wiseoldman.net. I can provide the in-game name in DM to moderation on request.)


He is insisting that he is not lying, not a scammer and that he will finish the job. When I requested for him to also confirm the status of the bank, he initially refused to do so, but the Callisto KC further still keeps rising which indicates that he is still gold farming.
It would seem he has given up on the service and is using my account for goldfarming / rmt purposes now.

The next set of screenshots show the conversation I had with Glacier after finding out about the hiscores and tracking the account on wiseoldman.net You can see that he is very uncooperative, refuses to explain why it couldn’t be done and then claims he was doing Callisto “slayer tasks” for 6000 kills. The last month and sheer volume of Callisto kills totals almost 6million XP gained in combat. This can easily be verified as dishonest as we can look on wiseoldman.net and confirm that the killcount and slayer xp do not correlate with periods where he gained 2000+ callisto kills and no slayer xp.

I can see from the XP alone that the job is only around 44% completed for progress in all required skills. This also does not factor in the completion of the actual tasks required for the achievement diary once the skill experience requirements have been met. No meaningful progress has been made in a month, and the progress before that was not impressive either, especially regarding the resources he had at his disposal. Below are the most recent progress screenshots he sent me.

As for Glacier, I’d hope for him to put it right, but going off of his behavior, dishonesty and continued use of my account for his own purposes of goldfarming and RWTing, I don’t see it as something that is likely going to be remedied. I do NOT want an account that has 6000 Callisto KC on it as this is a stain on the reputation of the account. It is a known venezuelan / gold farmer method.

I’m disappointed as I’ve worked with Glacier previously on this account and had a good experience.

Glacier is now showing screenshots that the bank’s value is 133m. However he cannot explain where the other 427m has been spent.


For reference, 560m could easily take an account that has just earned the Quest cape to full max stats. I have posted below a rough ballpark of the associated costs if Glacier did the most expensive methods for each skill and the amount of XP he gained in the skills. He is also still sticking to his story that he did 6000 Callisto for ‘slayer’ despite gaining no slayer exp during the timeframes he was farming. He seems to think everyone else is very stupid to believe this when it is easy to prove on the contrary.

Finally - to disprove his claims about Callisto being for "slayer" we can have a look at this image. It's very clear to see that when he's killing Callisto, the graph never moves on slayer xp.
