I don't see why people were so worried. The world could end at ANY moment, but do we live being scared of that 24/7? Nope.

 

IF the Mayans were right, I don't understand why Australians believed they would be the first to know one way or another... When the Mayans made the calendar, they made it for their time zone (if they even had a concept for time zones back then, which I doubt). Mayans definitely didn't live in Australia, so what makes you people believe we would be safe just because its the 21st for you and you're still alive?
