You take a newborn male baby, who otherwise would have been a regular heterosexual man when he grew up, and teach him throughout the first 20 years of life nothing about sex nor women. He never talks, hears or sees a feamle for the first 20 years of his life. Moreover, you do not answer his queries about the physical changes hes experiencing and stuff like erections, nocturnal emissions etc. they are left for him to explore for himself. Think of him as a man who is normal in every way except his lack of acknowledgment of the opposite sex, and of the act and product of performing intercourse.

On his 21st birthday, you take him to a hooker, a very attractive girl, you strip her totally naked.

What do you think he'll do? Do you think he'll start having intercourse straight away without realizing the consequences? Will his instincts guide him to breed?

I think its implanted in our instincts or genes to want to breed, therefore sexual attraction exists, whether this is the first time you've seen the object (hehe women) you sexually desire or not.

I feel it's in our genes the want to reproduce, however certain external factors could affect this want such as a bad experience with children consciously and subconsciously.

However in the case of attraction, how do you explain homosexuals?
Is this a rebellion against our so called "implanted" genes, or different genes in place telling us we prefer the opposite sex? I'm not too knowledgable on that subject so I look forward to hearing your imput.

Not the greatest scenario. But if you were to put a young boy and girl alone on an island and had all automated food and shelter for them and they had no prior knowledge of sex, then yeh that would have sex

I wasn't talking about homosexuals, in my scenario the man is hetero. However, I believe that homosexuality comes from imperfect genes.

Whats weird about homosexuals (if they really are not attracted to the opposite sex at all) is how didn't they disappear (obviously they can't/don't reproduce, thus they can't pass on their faulty genes). This can probably be explained by many homosexuals repressing their feelings and performing heterosexual intercourse regardless. In addition, we must keep in mind that until not too long ago being gay meant death sentence. Gay people had to marry the opposing sex and act like "normal" heteros in fear for their own lives.

But in the 21st century gays are no longer being chased after and atheism is getting more popular. I believe that gay population will rise and soon reach a maximum point, where nearly 100% of the gay people will declare so openly, and won't be forced to having sex with the opposing gender. Their population would gradually go down and sooner or later they shall be extinct (assuming no crazy ass extremist muslim totalitarian takes over the world by then)

Doesn't have to be a perfect scenario, its all in theory. And why would you assume that a putting a boy and a girl alone would ultimately mean sex all the time? There are way more variables than that. I tried to extract all variables in my case.
 
Humans are nothing more then animals and an animals prime instinct is to reproduce. There will be a sexual attraction and he would want to fuck the hooker.

He would also blow a hefty load if he has never masturbated before :p

This is what I'm thinking. He might have a strong attractions, and would figure out what to do eventually.

or people who happen to be homosexual will continue to exist and you may finally start to believe that there is unlikely to be one root factor that leads some people to be homosexual.
(also, i do not appreciate your endorsement of self destructive behavior.)

scientists that fear homosexuality(hmm i wonder why) try to find a genetic link to it so that they can start telling parents if their child will be homosexual or not. this is immoral.
think about the outcry heard when a fetus is killed because the mother honestly cannot take care of it and lead a full life.
now think of the outcry that would be heard if parents ended up killing a fetus because there is a high chance of it growing up to be homosexual.

its bad science that does not lead anywhere productive.
 
Who said I endorse it? I just predict thats what going to happen. If you take a specie X that continued to breed only by chance (say raping a different specie Y), and specie Y can now defend itself against X or no longer exists, then X will cease to reproduce and eventually exist too. Unless it finds another way to breed, in our case, homosexual sperm donaters . It might be their only way to breed in the future, and since the probability of A) choosing a sperm that has the "gay genes" and B) the child that spawns from that sperm turns out gay is so low that you'd say its nearing zero and eventually getting there

Furthermore, if genes don't make or break what you are sexually attracted to, what does? The environment doesn't change people's sexual preferences. I doubt there's a difference between the percentage of gay people in poor or rich areas.

I will not go into how flawed your argument is or what is wrong with comparing homosexual people to a separate species.

I will just say that environment does change peoples sexual preferences. Simply put, in environments with lots of food, thin women are valued. In environments with scarce food plump women are valued.

same thing goes for women. if they live in a poor place, they will most likely be attracted to rich men. if they are living in a place where everyone is rich, they will find someone with better looks for example.

your attitude that genes make different people homosexual is incredibly simplified and fails to take into account the fact that there are other reasons people may behave in a homosexual fashion other than "their genes tell them to".
 
It's in our genes to breed, not in our mindset. I read a fact; Humans and Dolphins are the only animals that have sex for pleasure, therefore, that shows that other animals that have sex have it only to reproduce, and that is it more than likely in their genes, as otherwise, What made them start the sexy time?
I don't actually think homosexuality comes into the argument, although the child may end up homosexual due to lack of experience with anything other than a fatherly, male figure. I don't really know and don't take any "responsibility" for stupidity in my last sentence as I'm not gay, as far as I know.

You shouldn't take my species example literally, just to clarify, I have a few gay friends and I totally accept them as an equal part of the human race. What I meant is that an animal/human/specie that kept on breeding by unnatural causes as his only way of reproducing, and is now gradually losing that one method, will eventually be wiped out.

That one is pretty obvious, the males in that area are attracted to what would seem to be the best choice to create superior offsprings, what you don't see is straight men suddenly going for other men just because they have more food/are thinner.

This also goes for your women example. Females look for the best type of male that can provide the best genes (that would be physical appearance) and protection and support (that would be the male's economic class) to mate with. Hence most woman fall for wealthy guys.

Sexual reproduction and the urge to mate are instinctual- we don't have to learn them to know them. The urge is in our fucking DNA, man. Just like any other animal; nobody teaches a tiger or a dolphin how to have sex... it just does it.
 
He probably wouldn't just jump on her, but he'd probably be aroused and want to do something. The urge to reproduce is the central ambition of any human mind, so obviously he's want to act on it.
