The Transcendental Argument for the Existence of God - Your Thoughts?

Edit, the YouTube tags don't want to work for me, so the TAG argument is here:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLWm_123lZU

Here's the ever-so-arrogant Matt Slick discussing TAG, and how it "proves" God exists. What are your thoughts on it?

I found this nice little synopsis of the argument (start at 5:40):

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7OgcCrqFpU

Edit: I don't think this argument is credible at all. It invokes numerous fallacies. He claims the religious mind is more credible than the atheist mind. It's an arbitrary argument, and nothing more.

i had trouble clicking the video, but at the end of the day there is no solid prove behind religion, only faith. personally, i dont believe in a higher power, but i really would like to. im sure many people are in the same boat as me. that seeing is infact believing.

I'm past half way through the first link and he's talking about logical-absolutes like its a physical golden orb, and if its existence can't be proven then God exists.

You don't need to see to believe.

Take air for example or probably something a bit more offensive to you... my fart... ^_^

Have a look at Anthony Flew's idea regarding religious believers continually qualifying their belief, 'God died a death of a thousand qualifications'

I think his argument that starts at 5:40 is completely uneducated and ignorant. First off in our periodic table we know what elements will be where, even if we haven't found those elements yet.

Another counter argument could be that before they divided the trees into coniferous and deciduous there were only "trees". But after further research they found out that they needed to divide them into new types. So maybe we haven't advanced as far to separate the trees into 3 different types, one were the pig will be included.

Edit: also Own_dem_rune_rocks, i saw your siggy and noticed that your Albert Einstein quote was misquoted... Could've been a mistake on your part or the website you got it from but right now it just makes you seem ignorant tbh. Honestly what you have down doesn't make any sense, where as the quote i found does make a lot of sense.

Here is the link for the quote you were looking for:

Thanks, but, I don't think it doesn't make me sound ignorant, it's grammatically, and logically correct. However, I will edit it since it is misquoted.

It makes you sound ignorant because your misquoting on such a famous quote. What if my siggy was:
"i once before had 2 dreams" -Martin Luther King Junior
instead of "I have a dream"

That makes me seem ignorant. Thats all i said, and tbh i said to me it makes you seem ignorant. So to me you still do.
