I was scammed out of the account Maeckstroth14 is selling at: 1799 total, 266 quest pts, all hard diaries, elite void. I purchased this accoung on G2G on December 7. The original owner recovered the account, changed the email address (which I previously changed to my own) back from to his original (per the image below).

I am currently working to get a refund from G2G. I wanted to report this however so someone else does not get scammed (as in addition to cost I put in well over 200 hours of game time into the account skilling over 10 million XP).

@PlayerAuctions - I see he is also trying to sell this account via your site. 1799 total, 266 quest pts, all hard diaries, elite void | ID 142900293 | PlayerAuctions

I wanted to shed some light on the situation. Yes, I sold the account and recovered it but this is only because G2G refused to pay me so I essentially gave my account away for free. It was not visible that my g2g account had a negative balance until I went to withdraw funds as seen in the following imgur post: Imgur

As you can see it shows I have a balance of $135 (sold for $150 so $135 after seller fees) but as soon as I go to withdraw funds it shows me having a balance of $-315 for some reason. G2G support has been terrible and unresponsive so I felt I had no other choice.

I opened a ticket with G2G and they said they would investigate and respond within 3 days and it's been 14 days. I did not mean to scam anyone but I did not want to basically give my account away for free either..

 

There was no issue on my end. As you can see from the screenshot I paid in full and have not disputed the charge.



You did not contact me when you recovered the account or after. Even though you could clearly see how active I was on the account: I completed the quest cape, spent millions leveling prayer from 77 to 88 and skilled well over 10 million XP.

And you did not even include an apology in your post. Even if what you say is true, you handled this poorly and bad faith.

 

Also, I paid for 3 months membership.

 

Please provide proof of this.

I don't really have anything else to add. G2g still won't respond in my support tickets. I never got paid from g2g as I said earlier. I had no way to contact the buyer because the chat on g2gs website only works if you have an open order and is unavailable once the order is closed.

 

You will need to recover the account, or give a full refund.

 

The buyer needs to get a refund from g2g. They are the ones that got paid not me

I just checked my g2g account and the account was taken out of my sold listings and my negative balance was returned to 0 so I'm guessing they refunded him if he can confirm this.
I still don't know why that would return my negative balance to 0 from - 315. They must have realized it was a mistake finally

I am still awaiting G2G to process the refund. However G2G will not refund me for the membership cost as well as all the other items I listed above. At an absolute minimum Meckstroth14 should 50m OSRS. Which is not much more than the cost of membership and much, much less than the cost of everything I put into the account.

 

Please keep me up to date on this.

I recieved a refund of $150 from G2G of the $155 I spent purchasing the account.
