How much, or how little, do you think the media influences teens today?

I'd say, and I say this in the point of view as a teen, that it does not influence me individually, but it affects some people that are attached to the TV/Movie/Music.

    Tell me what you think

I think it probably does influence allot of what teens, wear, watch, do, and maybe even the way they act. Not sure though personally I don't see it affecting me, but then again most people don't see the imperfections of themselves.

I think it does for those who let it. Personally I don't pay any attention to the media, movie stars, etc. I think its all stupid.

Yeah same here, I think its pretty dumb to do nothing but watch and follow what happens in their lives when I have a life of my own.

It heavily influences lost teens who have never adopted to their own personal style. If the rap scene isn't what's tick in 50 years I'm still gonna stay with it cause it's who I am. People who try to be exactly just like a celeb don't got a life.

I think as a large society we are all influenced in someway by the media, but overcoming this influence is impossible unless you were to move out into the woods of Montana or something =]
