from what i understand, annex's calculations are exact measurements. which means that if there was no resistance blocking the 2 towers, it should have followed the calculations. some are argueing that it should have fallen faster? WTF? the resistance from the towers standing, could alone prove that its resistance caused it to fall at a slower rate, but didnt stop the tumble altogether. based on the fact that there was a mall or somthing under it doesnt have any effect on the towers velocity at that point, mainly because the plane didnt crash on the mall below, it hit the MIDDLE of the structure. the mall would have nothing to do with the acceleration of the tower, because if it did the tower wouldnt look like a flat pancake. IF you think that the mall underneath the tower had anything to do with its velocity, then consider this.

if there is water going downhill towards the ground, if the pipe fell lower into the ground, would it have sped up the water flowing down? NO, if anything, it would have slowed it down, because the upward force of the water hitting the ground would flatten out (not really) the water. that explains why the tower is like a pancake.
