The Old Whip Scam

When I say "The Old Whip Scam" I mean it. (Lol?)

If you don't know which one I will explain:
Ask someone you need them in the wilderness for your/clan pk video. Tell them to just bring one item, a whip. Say that they will not need to skull on you, and enter the wilderness. Get to lvl20+ wildy and hit them down to about 15 HP. You would of brought 3+ Mystic tops with you, drop them. Then say "One second, setting up video cam". Your prey will see the tops pop up and pick them up. This is when you kick in and finish them off, now you have a whip.
HOWEVER...!
Since that Jagex had lowered the price of certain items including Mystic Top, this scam is no longer usable. Which put ME out of business.

I made about 4-5 whips a day and stopped after my 20th. My account didn't get banned, not even a single black mark. But about a month later I was hacked of 50m+. Stopped playing and now I have recently started.

However about a month ago I sold the account to www.gold4rs.com. It had recoverys so I had to wait 2 weeks before receiving my payment of 3mil. The recovs were gone, and I got my cash. However one of their workers asked for it back because they needed it for another order. I gave the money to him and he hasn't payed back yet. The guy I gave the money to was a real worker, I asked the site.
And I'm pissed off, they won't return the money, and they had crappy service. I had added the guy I sold the account to on MSN and everytime I asked him about "When will your worker give me the money back?", And everytime he said "Wait what was this?". I asked him once every 2 days and he always forgot.
CRAPPY SERVICE.

So now I'm taking up PC training and name selling to get myself back on track.

And I guess I'm starting to believe in karma, I just got scammed of a lvl73 bout 20 mins ago.

My friend still does it but he uses db axes instead of mystic tops as they are kept over whips

now i see. A guy like a couple months ago asked me if he could make a pk video. I knew somthng was fishy about it though. he said that he would give me 4 dragon battle axes that were noted in his inventory. But i never fell for it even though i didnt know what the hell was really going to happen.

 

too bad tops dont protect over whips any more

I liked people to try and scam because of that because I have 70+ hunter and when I grab the tops I use the imp in a box to send the whip to the bank. So I die in Fally with 4 mystic tops and my whip safely in the bank.

Originally when you had mystic robes, the robes were worth more (not in-game value) than whip so when you die you get robes, now its Whip worth more.
