I'm confused, why would The Old Nite get his own statue?

 

I don't think Jagex ever stated that that statue was made in his memory.

He was one of the first Runescape players, and a legend. Jagex mods knew him personally. When he died of cancer they did it to remember him by.

The new update made it look like that, it didn't use to.

ye thats the one idk if it was for him tho jus for the legends of pking i think since he is by far one of the best ppl jus say it was fo0r him i never heard any updates about it for him i remember kinda what about said but dont rember him being mentioned jus the legends who make the game great and enjoyable for so many

I read somewhere that; it is a memorial for him. They should reconsider naming it.

 

Your theories are wrong the statue was there way before he even died I remember that statue being there when rs2 was released and its still looks the same to me.

She is probably buried in the Wilderness, on top of the green hill upon which stands a statue of a female warrior surrounded by flowers. This is supported by the similarities between that statue and the statue of Camorra in the Heroes' guild.
