Hey TBT, nice to see an actual thread for this.

My YT channel has some videos of it in action and all the pictures that I have are in videos that I've uploaded. Except for this one:

Based on their horrible demonstration of their ability to host, I'm willing to bet that the bot server is either the same one (I.e., it's also kaput) or an equally crappy one (I.e., it's also kaput). This means that even if you have the downloaded client, it won't be able to communicate with the JBot server for information on various things necessary for the scripts to run.

TL;DR: The client is also probably worthless. Everything to me so far has been screaming a hoax.


Btw, there are a number of other free browsers. I recommend using Google Chrome, but you can also get Firefox, Safari, Opera, and dozens of other less popular browsers for free.

 

The ivy chopper works fine on Jbot, the one time you could use it

 

This ^. I think they're using a shared newbie hosting plan (under $10). The company that hosts them went down as well! That tells me the owner of the hosting site is some freelancer over selling one dedicated server or worse over crowding a reseller ($10-50 value itself) that is already over crowed and slow to begin with.

 

So the real question is this...

Will it ever work?

 

The bot does work, just not the site!

But doesn't go through any other swtich/router.

 

Obviously :\ A site being DDoS'd will become null routed. They'll also be revoked from their hosting since most hosting companies won't allow sites being ddosd.

high traffic = null route essentially.

 

I got it got, tracing is not allowed, but ping is. The server is up, just not webserver...

Anyways, Emperial said that if it wasn't online by tomorrow, he'll take my server. And well, my hosting knowledge can help it

 

Site is back up. Emperial said that we would be moving to a new host with protection against ddos'.

 

V1.1 is also now available. You can now run as a guest to avoid the log in problem.

This is becoming a joke. I could be mistaken but haven't people already donated $100s, if not $1,000+ to them? With that kind of money they have the ability to stray away from $5 a month shared hosting.
