edit: 1-60+ strength and 1-30 attack on a noob account so far. Logs out during randoms though so it only makes it a few hours at best before you need to check it.

But it's a thread. So this whole thing is still relevant since we're discussing Rarebot in this thread.

 

That is correct; iJava realized that there were tons of threads being made about rarebot and decided to do something about it.

Honestly though he needs to take a few minutes and update his first post letting people know that it IS functioning and there seems to be no immediate threat.

And seriously though, rarebot has about a 2% uptime for their website (or less)

 

Most people seem to be having a problem with the bot loading the actual runescape applet and the client. So it is supposed to be fixed this update.

 

You just need to reset your modem for it to start working again.
For porting scripts over from PB, do you just need to change the org.rsbot to com.rarebot for it to be able to compile? I've done this 3 times and it doesn't work but I've just put the pastebin link to add the bot. I've heard some people do it differently. I know some scripts will be outdated from the various updates but I'm just struggling to compile.

 

You need to revise some of the parts of the script, not only the org.rsbot. Some people do it differently so it can be compatible with the API? I'm not so sure there since I don't know anything about java coding.

 

There are guides on their forums for doing this, their site is back up too now. If you refer to my first post you can't use the pastebin link and have it compile without JDK. So you're better off using innovation.ch which is a compiling service, you compile the .java script and the bots jar file together, take the .class files and stick in your script folder within documents/rarebot.

A lot of the scripts you can simply change the com.rarebot part and it'll compile correctly and usually work, of course some won't which I previously said, but once you find something that won't fully compile and you need it, you can try getting someone to fix it, then update it a bit. Not very difficult and I'm sure someone knowledgeable in scripting would fix any script for a small fee.

Regarding the modem part, you don't need to do that, just restart the client if it's not working so you'll get a different loader ID. I haven't experienced honestly any of the problems people are complaining about so sorry I can't help much more.

 

Do you know about the black screen issue? Or is it only me? I'm using a mac, posted on their bot support. I still saw no reply. Would you be able to answer that? If not, then thanks anyways.

So far I'm not overly impressed, there are little to none original scripts; just ripoffs of PB and RsBuddy that are really buggy and no one seems willing to write anything new. I am however impressed that they managed to get the client running anything at all so +1 for that!

 

I also have this error and I am on windows. They're having problems with it right now. If you look in support then there are a lot of people with this same problem.

you can't expect a brand new bot to come out with 100 scripts straight away can you?

ran the bot on yaks; went 5 hours flawlessly until the 'client token error', which isn't the bot's fault.
best thing out at the moment, look forward to seeing more scripts!

 

no good software at all. Crashes right now for me constantly, sorry buddy you have to improve it!
