Wow shows you have read the guidelines, remember that telling someone something that is incorrect is worst then not telling them at all...leads them in the wrong direction

Heres a suggestion for you retardss:)

You know that RID records how many hours/minutes you play? Every day , it resets to 3:00PM PST sharp , so do the math. bot when it resets and then you can find out how many hours / minutes you are using from 0:00

I'd suggest you re-read the first 8-9 words of my post.

I was simply putting it out there that I have in the past, and was not banned.

Hows this bot doing nowadays? Around a year ago I was permanently banned on my level 131 from it, but it did get me 99 Magic and a few magic bots.

Saying that no one has been banned following your so called "guidelines" is definitely not true.

    Bot at your own risk..

** Also, most of the oldschool RID users will know this but, the owner of this bot, is a HUGE procrastinator..

Skele, I think you actually need to read the guidelines, why would you recommend that he does not bot for 8 hours and then contradict that statement by saying you have done it and have not been banned.

Anyway don't want to start a flame war

When someone asks a question they expect to get the correct answer, which that was not.

I have already said simply trying to help the guy out by telling him he can bot up to 8 hours

    Unce, I'm glad you posted.

Giving too much info about your RS account on Sythe is dangerous and a direct breach of guideline 2. Think about it, you used inferior versions of RID for 8 months no problem, yet within a couple of weeks of posting this thread, got banned: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=502915

You are dismissive labelling them "so called guidelines", but if you'd been aware and followed this guideline, you would not have been banned.

I can cut you some slack, because the guidelines weren't released at that time. It took us by surprise. You were banned simultaneously, with 2 other regulars on the old RID thread, who were also selling 99 magic accounts on Sythe at the time (credoviolin, and I forget the other). If you want to bot again, I recommend familiarising yourself with the guidelines, and following the steps in guideline 4.

Since Magic Training 4, there has never been a player who followed the guidelines banned, that may be hard to believe but it's a fact. This is what sets RID apart from your average bot.

Guideline 1, has become more important (the number of bans for guideline 1 went from 0 to 5, over the last 6 months) but it's not the case if you bot more than 8 hours a day you will be banned, just that you become at risk. The chance of being banned for guideline 1, after any day of excessive botting is only 0.5%.

In software development you start off with one big job, which ends up becoming lots of little jobs, so deadlines are inherantly hard to predict. I'm ambitious with targets and there is no compromise on quality, so will take any extra time needed to achieve them. It may come across as procrastination, but much higher budget software projects than RID get delayed, and when they have deadlines, can hire more programmers. RID is more of a creative and specialised project, I have to do all the work on RID personally, and it often takes a long time, but I'm a firm believer you reap what you sow, good things come to those who wait, etc. The new bot (which should be released on 30th August), has been a long time in the making, but wait till you see it! It is expected to again push the boundaries, of what people thought was possible in RS botting.

Don't worry Xcon444, Al-Kharid smithing is going to get an update too.

Let's just hope that the new bot will be somewhere randomfree, because RID barely solve any randoms (infact I've never seen it solve one), and they were scheduled to be solved months ago.
