Yesterday you used 9.5 hours of credit.

However it's far more likely it was the statement above that would get you flagged. I don't think anybody has ever said something like that without being punished, Jagex don't always ban people on the spot, but they have been going through information on this thread since V4 was released, and they are ever vigilant. You are at their mercy when you give that kind of information, that's why it's the most important of the guidelines. I'll keep an eye out for any new action from Jagex, but it looks like the same old to me. The same kind of stuff they've been doing in the past, in which case, if you follow the guidelines there's nothing to worry about.

Hmm, something weird happened to the BlackSmithing bot. I tested it today (I gotta say it's extremely impressive!) and I ordered it to do smelt X bars, and when it had 1 load left, it quit. It did withdraw the ores, but then it logged out and the bot terminated. What's wrong?

2 months or 6 months Jagex keep tabs. Especially with a bot like this. I posted times and such like that when V4 first came out...then a few weeks later I got the first 10 pointer..

And Sex, did you make a new account? Or did you change your IP and reuse the account from the old IP? If so, that is how they monitored your account.

Looks like they are coming down hard with you guys lol. Wonder if they have a new system?

EDIT: They have randoms in the arenas now?

Oh, I didn't mean to sound like I was accusing you or anything. But i guess I suck at comprehending today lol. Too tired.

So after you got the temp ban on that account you changed your IP again. But then returned to the MTA bot? (Which was unrelated to the temp.?)

I would bet that they somehow traced the account with the Temp. to the one that got a perm from the MTA before.

dude2244 - I wouldn't say what OS you use when it's quite a rare OS. There are ways Jagex could tell what OS anyone who connects to their servers use.
Because there's been 3 bans in succession (and another guy who hasn't posted), I'd say Jagex were probably taking targetted action at RID members. It's happened before a few times since V4 came out.

A brief history of Jagex's action against MT4 users. On the first day of release there were 4 bans, and in total over the first 4 days 12 bans. That's when we realised all ban victims had the same things in common, and drafted a set of guidelines that ever since has kept people safe.
Jagex kept up the effort, but only managed to pick off three people in the following month (all of whom broke guidelines of course), after that bans stopped, but people didn't stop breaking guidelines. In Dec '08 shortly after I announced that given bans had stopped the bot should now regarded as undetectable, 4 people who'd broken guidelines in the weeks leading up were banned on the same day.
There wasn't any action from Jagex after that though. Until yesterday, only one person had been banned in 2009! And like all the other victims, he broke RID guidelines. That cannot be luck, we know there have been no automated detection processes for RID all this time, but the price of that success is every now and again Jagex put their heads together and manage to figure out some of the people who are using RID.

I'm surprised there hasn't been more bans, people post compromising information here all the time (two cases on this page alone). Nothing unusual/unique/rare about you or your in-game activity is safe for an RID member to say here, or anywhere on this site.

Unlucky man, I can vouch sex° has been a responsible user, but was also a known RID member from V3. It's possible Jagex could track you in other ways but if they do, I don't know about it. What I know, is 6 of the 12 bans on the days MT4 came out were given to people who like you had bans from V2+3. These people would repeatedly get banned when they spent any significant time at the MTA. By working with these people, we learned that changing IP alone wasn't enough to break the cycle, you need to first abandon all your old RS accounts, then change IP, and most importantly never log back into any of your old accounts, otherwise Jagex will still have you flagged as a member of RID. There's no way I can check you followed this procedure, but it's unlikely all 4 ban victims would have the things in common as those banned previously in V4 if this was something new. People in breach of the guidelines are in the minority, an in-game detection process wouldn't discriminate, it would ban those who follow and those who break guidelines alike.

I don't think it is related to random events, because they've been out for a while now, and with the alarm system your bot will notify you if it has any problems solving an event. Even still, if you aren't around logging out a random has been ok for months, and it looks unlikely to have played a part when you consider the circumstances of the ban victims.

Hvide broke guidelines 1+3, allm0t0 hasn't given me his RID username so idk if he was breaking guideline 1, but he has broken guideline 3 by giving information about in-game activity and rs accounts, the guy who has contacted me privately has done the right thing, however he broke the guidelines in a pretty major way, although I won't give any details to avoid compromising his appeal.

Yesterday I put a video on YouTube, and embedded it on MT4 page of the site, and it's possible Jagex are pissed (they already claimed and had it removed even though I hadn't even announced this video till now). If you've seen it you know it's good and bound to have Jagex rattled, and this action may be backlash. However I can't control when/what they do, any more than I can force everyone to follow guidelines. History has taught us when you stick to the guidelines, the software is 100% safe, at this moment that is still the case, but as always I'll be looking out for new risks.

In the meantime I recommend not going over 6 hours a day at the MTA. Excessive use at this moment in time may lead to a perm ban. And if you get banned let support know about it, it's best not to announce before you appeal, because doing so may confirm to Jagex they caught the right guy which doesn't help a strong appeal.

I have posted compromising information about my account due to the fact it is already banned, in no way did I even slightly mention the activities on the account I was using MTA V4 on before I was banned. I've never had a successful macroing appeal when it was a 10 bm perm banishment so I posted that information. But, I'll go ahead and remove it anyways just in case although it's probably to late.

Edit: Pinseller I'd appreciate it if you removed the quote from your previous post that contained certain compromising details about my account.

crackers, I would be careful even with what you just said, that right there might be enough compromising evidence to do something to you
