    The free version of minecraft?
    Is there anything to do on the free version of minecraft?
    I've seen youtube vids on minecraft and see that you start off with no supplies and theres animals around and monsters etc. But on the free version you have unlimited supplies and nothing else. I Don't mind paying for the payed version but i really wanted to try out some of the features on the free version and see if I really liked it before I decided to buy the real version, so am I missing somthing or is this it?

    free version = just classic creator looks like crap

    paid version = survival mode where monsters try to kill you but you can also turn them off in settings and craft more items

    There are cracked versions on youtube that feature only SP, I tried it like that before buying it..

    Careful downloading anything from youtube, many programs are bound to viruses. If you must go the cracked route, I recommend getting it from somewhere where it has been downloaded hundreds of times (eg tpb)

    You can only create on the free version of minecraft. Many people base their servers on 'pixel art' and such, but there is no real goal. The paid version has achievements, NPCs, but you're also limited to a set number of blocks. (The ones which you harvest.)
