With your youtube comment. If someone on youtube posted a video of something people thought to be real and you didn't want to believe it, you wouldn't. However, if a 100% real Nevada Area51 Website posted the same video, i'm sure you'd be quick to believe anything on there. Am I wrong? Probably not .. Uggh ..

 

oh honestly, that was my mistake for saying that. i thought that you had said 'cant' in the statement "There are some 100 billion stars in our galaxy, and some 100 billion galaxies that we can see" which led me to think that you were implying that there was way more out there, we were just unable to see it.

The anthropic principle? please do explain, or give me some references. I promise to be open minded

Well, if i had known the site that posted it to be credible, and have a good reputation for things proved or known to be true, i lean more towards believing that. but you-tube? no chance. and that video doesn't exactly prove everything. all you see is two people standing at a podium telling you about how there's tons of witness sitings for UFOs, but they dont even show you the witnesses. how am i to believe that? if you saw a video of me standing at a podium, and i said that i met hitlers uncle, and he confessed to me that hitler was actually a woman, would you believe me? probably not
so i'm sorry if i dont exactly believe in watching youtube videos to find hard evidence =/

well....not exactly. i'm not exactly sure to whether i believe what the president, or the government says anymore. no way would i trust them to be 100% credible. and especially about something like aliens. the only thing that would push me to believe is actual proof. evidence, seen with my own eyes. i know people have pictures and stuff, but i need harder evidence, and the pictures could have just been forged and what not.

Alas, logic isn't always right, but it would suffice under certain circumstances, I guess ..
I've looked at the subject in technical ways, logical ways, and just about every other way there is. I guess it all leads me to believe ..

A couple nights ago I was on the phone with a friend .. and he goes "Theres a BIG ass plain straight above my house", so I look out my window, and it's above mine! We live about 4 long streets away, so I'm like, is it still above your house? He says yes, so now i'm freaking out .. I look at it again and it's FREAKING HUGE! It was shaped like a triangle with no base, like a frisbee aircraft .. I promise on EVERYTHING I know and love that I thought that it was a UFO ..

Maybe i'm just paranoid, but anyone who saw it would have thought it were a UFO. It was maybe 90 feet above my house, atleast from my view .. 3 blinking lights at it's corners .. It may have been an airplane, but I sure would pay a LOT of money to see what it actually was.. I'm STILL freaked out.. :]

I first saw it in Stephen Hawking's "A Brief History of Time". Basically, in terms of cosmology, the anthropic principle explains why the universe is almost perfectly tuned. If the conditions in this part of the universe were any different, life would not have arisen. Life can only arise where the conditions are perfect, and, in a universe as large as ours, I would guess that there's a reasonable chance of the conditions being perfect in some places.

 

and thats the thing....i'm basically on the outside looking in. i know nothing about this subject at all, but i would actually like to learn. because so far, all i've seen is the side of the argument thats against aliens. but i would actually like to see some evidence that points toward it, because im sure there is some.

So i'm not saying that you're a mental case and all, but from what i know, it could be something like selective hearing. maybe you saw an airplane, maybe you saw a UFO. the odds though of someone obsessed with aliens actually seeing one above his house....kind of slim, lol.

Its real proof, although I'm not too sure what to think about it yet.

You'll need to watch more then the first part to see the witnesses, there are like 12 different parts.

 

In reality, we ourselves our aliens, we are all different, since there is life here why would it not be possible for something else to be adapt for other worldly conditions.

 

There is ony on universe. You possibly mean "galaxies"? If you meant this then,yes that could happen.. but we live in one galxy, so if there are other galxies in sure that there are other plantes with life form on it.

Maby, where not meant to find them. Maby there meant to find us.

 

That was just a plane that I though was a UFO, case we were on the subject at the time. :] [: It was dark and the lights of the airplane made it look like one,but when it got in the light I knew it was an airplane.

No, it does not mean that at all. If fact, you're right. Alas, most people do not believe because of the sole reason that they haven't experienced anything that could lead them to believing .. But, yeah.
