You all know about the recent glitch, most probably know how it worked. Here's an explanation, copied from my thread on Rune-Tips.net, of WHY it worked for those curious.

Rune-Tips.net said:This glitch is officially patched. For those curious. here is how it worked.
In order to abuse the glitch, one would need at least 68 magic and 71 Fletching (although the Assist system could be used).
The glitch was used specifically to turn ten regular dragon bolts into twenty-two enchanted dragon bolts by exploiting a programming glitch.
First, the player would obtain a large amount of unenchanted bolts (either buying them or fletching them), and gather the runes needed to enchant these bolts.
Then, they would take a CUT opal and a chisel into their inventory.
After using the cut opal on the chisel, the "Cut-x-bolt-tips" box would come up in the chat window. They would then open the MAGIC interface, while the "cut-x" interface was still up.
Finally, the player would quickly click on the icon of the cut opal in the "cut-x" interface, then immediately click "enchant bolts" and select "Dragonstone" in the Magic interface.
Immediately, ten (or in some cases, 1) regular bolts would disappear and twenty two enchanted bolts would appear instead.
How did this work? The telltale sign is that, when the glitch was executed, the following two messages arrived in your chat box:
"You enchant the dragon bolts"
"You cut the opal into small bolt tips"
The opal was NOT in fact cut into bolt tips - and here's why. When you cut bolt tips, there is a second-long delay before they are actually cut. The command to enchant bolts would OVERRIDE the command to cut the opal, and instead of 12 cut opal bolt tips being deposited in your inventory (as should have happened) an ADDITIONAL 12 enchanted bolts were deposited.
I believe this worked because both cutting an opal and enchanting bolt tips calls a RuneScape function to deposit X of X item into your inventory (remember, when you cut an opal all that happens is the opal is removed and 12 bolt tips are deposited instead).
When you quickly called this function a second time, allowed because cutting opals has a delay before the function is actually called, the total number of items to be added from both calls was added together and the item itself was copied from the last time the function was called.
Luckily, nobody realized that this had the potential to dupe other items - in fact, I believe, any item that called the "deposit-X-in-inventory" function could have been duped. Perhaps pulling a cracker would have deposited 13 phats in your inventory..
Luckily, the only item anyone attempted this on was Dragon Bolts, and as a result the economy will not be overly effected. The largest abusers hav already been banned, and more peobably will be in the upcoming days.
