The Don - Requesting the Removal of DNT

Detailed description of the events that took place and why you disagree with the decision:

I'd like to start out by thanking everyone and anyone who is reading this, and for your consideration on my behalf. Furthermore, I'd like to say I am not here to disagree with any decisions that was previously made toward my account, as I understand why I received the punishment that I did. That said, I am here today after waiting out the 90 day ban that just ended today, hoping for, and deeply invested in doing anything I can to overturn the decision to add a DNT to my profile.

The events that took place are as follows:
I was in a discord that had a staking bot, which making payments to winners/losers was based on a good faith system. In other words, if you lose, pay up.

I had done a few stakes until my opponent (the person who made the report) suggested we do a $500 stake, which would be payed out in crypto. I lost the stake. In that very moment, for a split second, I made an irrational, foolish decision to try and get away with not paying the gentleman. In my mind, I had thought that this Discord server was not well connected, and that I would not face consequences for my actions outside of this specific server. I then went at length to try and get away with this foolish act, by changing my posts/threads on Sythe to try and rid any evidence of my Sythe account being associated with this Discord account in question.

Unfortunately, and I'm embarrassed to say, my morals, empathic nature, and better judgement completely escaped me for a short time, which led to what was genuinely just stupid move after stupid move.

When the gentleman made a Sythe account specifically to make this ban report and I was questioned by an admin about it, I tried denying it.

Almost immediately after it became evident that whatever childish attempt at evading payment I had tried was going to be unsuccessful, I swiftly made the payment to the gentleman of the full $500. This can be seen in the scam report itself.

Unfortunately, by this point, it was too late, and I received a 3 month ban and a DNT for the dishonest and scummy move on my part.

Link to previous disputes: No other disputes in my name.

Anything else you wish to say:

I've been thinking a lot about how to word this part of my DNT pardon - I've had 3 months to think about it. I recognize that I have an uphill battle to convince those who might think I don't deserve a second chance. But I am really hoping that through my message, the staff of Sythe can hopefully sense that despite this terrible mistake, ripe with carelessness, disregard, and scumminess, that I mean well, I am a decent and kind person, and that this was an honest and genuine lack of judgement, and not who I am as a person. Truly and genuinely, a mistake.

If I were to describe myself, I could recognize that at times I may be a type of person to try and cut corners. But I know full and well in my heart that I am not a scammer, and this is not indicative of my character. If I was truly down bad in this situation, it would be one thing if I walked away from this situation by abandoning this community, and all of the hard work and dedication I have put into my Sythe account, and anything RS related, that I would have just refused to pay the $500 and let that be that. But no, I knew that was not the right move, and I knew I had to face my mistake and immediately pay up. I am hoping that action, albeit the only true option I had left, will indicate to everyone reading this that this situation was nothing more than someone testing the limits he could push, but then quickly realizing it would be unsuccessful, and was not even remotely worth it. While I am hoping this perspective may be helpful for my case, as an attempt to explain myself and my thought process more accurately, I recognize that this doesn't excuse the behavior.

I cherish Sythe, this account, and RS. Sythe has done a lot of good for me in my life - it's provided me with opportunity, friends, knowledge, and much more thats harder to put to words. That's why I've donated $300 toward the site. I have been really sad not being able to utilize the forum the last 3 months. I am hoping that I can get back into the action here, and continue to be a positive member of the community, that I know I am.

I recognize that this message may not be enough to convince the staff team. And that is why I am willing to do as much as I can to get back on track and continue onward on this forum. I am hoping that by either donating more to Sythe, or perhaps contribute financially to the Community Repayment program that Sythe has, that everyone here will get a better sense of my commitment and strong desire to rectifying things.

I have been a member since 2016 - I am hoping that the Sythe staff is willing and open to seeing this was one mistake that will never happen again, and I'm hoping that my time here may continue to grow and prosper. I want to do whatever it takes. If any staff remains unconvinced, I am hoping that through conversation and any recommendations that you guys may give me, I can redeem myself for this series of mistakes I've made, and rejoin the forum again as a positive contributing member.

I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not, but I would also like to mention that over the last 3 months, I have done my best to remain active and a participant within the Sythe and RS Discord communities, as I have continued to do deals with other trusted members. These deals ranged from buying and selling accounts and buying and selling gold with trusted members, where I would go first in the deal. I recognize that this may not convey much, but I just wanted to show that despite being unable to access Sythe, that I did my best to continue to participate in the marketplace and in the community in whatever ways I could.

And lastly, I apologize to those that I impacted through this whole ordeal, including Tarub, Kanye, and any other Sythe members.

Thanks very much for taking the time to read this message, and I greatly appreciate your consideration on my behalf. Please let me know if there is anything further I do to better my chances at this pardon, and I very much look forward to hearing back from everyone.

    Best,
    The Don
