I was recently watching russian tv w/ my dad when the news came on and they showed the rates between rubles, dollars, and euros. After I saw how low it dropped, I wanted to put it up here for everyone else to see.

The dollar used to be about 30 rubles and the euro was about 32. Now the dollar dropped to about 25 rubles and the euro soared up to 35. I just wanted to bring this to your attention that we're currently getting raped and I'm hoping that the next president will turn this around (even though none of the choices look very promising -.- )
 
Hmm well thats intresting but were pustting all out shops into japan and china now and were actually losing money in a few years china will be the richest if it isn't now i'm not sure and yes were dropping because we no longer maker out own products?

the world is slowly crumbling... all of these wars, gas prices, money value is dropping, its really sad to see

and bush is really needing to do a lot more, but i can't complain because the war of Iraq could be here in America

No, it couldn't. 9/11 and the Iraq invasion were not related. The current trouble in Iraq is due to sectarian violence between various groups. We're just in the way.

Also, it's not a war. The United States hasn't been to war since WWII.
 
I never said 9/11 was related...you came out of the blue with that. And yes Iraq COULD'VE invaded America long ago if they really wanted to. SOrry for this post too it was kidna off topic

No, they couldn't. There was absolutely no presence of ANY WMD in Iraq, and Saddam was not showing any aggressive anti-American tendencies.

Sadly, yes, it seems like everyone is wanting more money, and is pricing their items at higher prices. This means inflation...
 
lol earlier this year our dollar rose from 70cents against the us to 81.6cents within a few weeks. It dropped back down to 70cents now so alot people made alot of cash from this.
 
And you can thank the federal bank that our money isn't backed up by anything ;D.

Thats why my dad put 150G's back in china, exchange it to their currency, and wait for the dollar to drop and make profit!

Shredder is right. The war in Iraq isnt an actual war. If the US wants to have war, congress must be the one to declare it. Since congress did no such thing, technically we are not at war. Thats the only supposed "war" going on unless you consider the conflict with N korea a war

And the world is not crumbling cause of gas prices, thats dumb. Gas prices have been going up since we STARTED using gas because we have a limited supply. Once we develop new methods of converting energy, then we wont have to worry about this.

Thirdly, the value of money DECREASING is not a bad thing. If money did not decrease in value then the economy would not prosper.

Sad to see? Please learn some basic information before spitting out this crap about how the world is crumbling.
