The Cabin In The Woods

I know it's a pretty old movie but I just watched it. Such a fucking messed up movie. It's not even a very scary movie, just super fucking twisted. Those of you that have seen it, opinions?

 

Watched it on my friends Netflix account the other day, didn't particularly like it. That may be because I have just got into the 'Horror' genre however, and was looking for something to scare myself, where as this film seems more based upon other themes? In the sense it's not scary, but more surreal.

Would definitely agree with this then! I haven't seen the last 15 minutes yet, so tell me, is it worth watching the end?

 

Terrible movie. Horrendous plot, scripting, acting, casting and narrative.

 

I thought the ending was really stupid tbh

 

Saw them going down into the elevator and releasing the creatures and stopped then. I came to be scared, I was not.

On another note, any suggestions as to other films I should watch which will give me a thrill and preferably be available on Netflix? :3

 

I just watched it on Netflix yesterday, I'll let you know if I find an actually scary movie on there

Edit: my favorite part of the movie was when they released the monsters and the unicorn chased down the guy and stabbed him with its horn. I started laughing my ass off.

 

Watched it a few weeks ago with a girl it didn't work out with lol. I didn't really like it.. The ending made no sense to me and I just generally think they could have made it so much better.

I did think it was cool how they picked what killed them. Interesting.

 

Needs more mermaids.

Was kind of fun to watch.

Fun to watch? The story got so retarded and messed up i was cringing the whole time. It from typical slasher to plain retarded. I was pasing up and down the floor trying not to blow my own brains out.

 

Saw it in theatres it was so lame :/

 

I liked how it was going at the beginning, about killing people and all that. It kinda freaked me out a bit at some point of the movie, but the end just killed the movie so badly. I wish they ended it in some other way.

In all honesty, you pretty much summed it up. The only thing that really scared me was thinking about the guy who wrote the story.
