The Bird and the Beast.

So as most people who play RS3 know there's a new world event called "The Bird and the Beast" and it's between Armadyl and Bandos.

I was wondering where people's allegiances lie and their thoughts upon the event as whole.

As for me, I didn't really care who I was aligned to so I went with the closest to me when I logged in, that happened to be Armadyl. I'm more of a Zaros supporter when it comes to Gods.

The Event itself is pretty good IMO. I like the fact that you can toggle PvP off and on and the fact that you can gain a lot of free Construction XP. They've actually done well with this one.

 

I've not managed to get online for this update yet, but I've heard it's pretty good. Is it hard to fill the daily quota, and how much construct xp will it give you? Cheers.

 

It's easy to fill unlike last time. Took me about 4 hours to fill today but I was in the middle of renovating my kitchen (perhaps I'm a little dedicated lol). Usually, depending on whether you have PvP enabled, it takes about 1-2 hours without PvP enabled and 30 minutes to an hour with it. The renown rate and gain doubles with PvP enabled.

As for XP; you get an extra 50% construction xp per gain but at the cost of less xp gained overall as the renown counter decreases quicker. I gained about 39-58k Construction XP per day. So my advice is if you're looking for renown, go for the PvP enabled way and if you're looking for XP go for the PvP disabled version.

I think they are going a bit overkill on the daily/weekly/monthly events. A lot of new content is only used because of the xp, which in turn creates older dead content
