The Basic Guide To Yu-Gi-Oh Cards

This is my fifth guide. I know it may not be the best one. Or the smartest topic but i tried.

Yu-Gi-Oh is a trading card game. Base on three main card types.

    Monster's
may come in many different forms such as,

    http://www.yugiohforless.com/card_ritual.gif

The skin colored ones are normal monsters. (Witch do nothing but attack and defend)

The ones that are skin colored but a little darker(dark brown), are effect monsters. Just follow what they say. Such as, "Discard this card from your hand to get a Legendary Ocean to your hand." or "FLIP: Destroy 1 monster card on the field." These efftect monsters are very special and vital to any deck.

The WHITE plain white ones are called "Synchro's" These cards came out about a week or two ago. These cards are summoned by sacrificing two cards on the field who's level stars are equal to the synchro. Theres a catch though, one of the cards has to be a tuner, such as.

The blue cards (Ritual) require the ritual spell card to summon(Refer to spells).
When you have the spell and monster in your hand you have to sacrifice from your hand OR the field OR both to equal the level star of the ritual monster, or more.

The purple cards are fusion cards. Its self explanatory. You have to get the two monster cards and use "Polymorph" or any other that combines the cards together.

    Spell

    cards are the color greenish.

Normal spell cards have to be played from your hand. But there is symbols to the spell cards. There these,
    [IMG]

    Normal Spell; No Symbol
Continuous Spell, symbolized with an "infinity" symbol.
Equip Spell, symbolized with a "plus" symbol.
Quick-Play Spell, symbolized with a lightning bolt.
Field Spell, symbolized with a compass.
Ritual Spell, symbolized with a torch

These cards are pretty straight foward. Just follow what they say.

    Trap
card's are the redish ones. Theses cards must be set face down before activating it. You cannot activate it the same turn it is set. These cards also have symbols.

    Normal Trap; No symbol
Continuous Trap, symbolized with an "infinity" sign.
Counter Trap, symbolized by an arrow.

Traps aren't always straight on. Some are counters to another card. Such as,
    [IMG]
That counters the other card monster's effect. Otherwise just follow what they say also.

The Basic Guide To Yu-Gi-Oh Cards

Once you buy a structure deck, you can
look at the game guide, which tells you
basically all this. You should like type out
a guide on how to make a quality deck, such
as gladiator beasts, monarchs, or the new
decktypes. Or you can tell people where
to find tournaments and stuff. 5/10 for the
    effort and the pictures.

no one likes or wants to talk about Yu-Gi-Oh anymore so I give this guide a 6/10 because its well structured but it would be better if we never knew about this guide.

yugioh can also roll in the cash. Even if its gay. Its like pokemon, everyone hates it. Yet they make more money than your mommy and daddy will ever make.

Your a dooshbag. Don't flame a guide just because you dislike the topic. Try constructive criticism?

Anyways, yea I remember playing this game about 3-4 years ago :/ I'm sure most have played it once in their lives after the pokeman craze..
3/10 for the basic aspect of the game on which the guide was written
    8/10 for effort :)

The Basic Guide To Yu-Gi-Oh Cards

Very basic guide. Why make a guide just focusing on cards only? 3/10

And the guide deserves my 3/10. I never "rated" the guide. If you read my first sentence, I said it was a very basic guide.

Oh I used to spend so much money on that crap and go to comic stores to play with other kids xD
But that was a very long time ago...

I'd give the guide a 4/10, it's too short, it doesn't explain everything
