Hello players! Yes...this is correct! But you can hack into Runescape database! It's really simple! I have been cracking for about 9 years of my life and now i really know how to handle such stuff! You don't really need any JAVA skils to do this!

Jagex server runs on LINUX...I don't really know what kind but by the characteristics i can deffinetly say that it's DEBIAN GNU(strong security and it's perfect for SQL Database keeping)

To hack Runescape you need:
1.LINUX BACKTRACK because it is perfect for hacking!
2.Know LINUX really well...especially the Commands in the TERMINAL
3.Know the LINUX paths...I mean thedirectories!
4.Have some nice tools! Some nice crackers,decrypters (because there always are some encrypted codes)
5.Know the RUNESCAPE FTP because as said above Client transfers packets to Server! But you didn't mention that these packets go through a FTP server!
6.Optional,but you better know JAGEX IP server! If the FTP cracking doesn't work,try the IP cracking!

easiest thing to do: Get a BRUTE FORCER,HYDRA,CAIN and some dictionarries and accounts! All you need to know is the USERNAME! Also you will need a PROXY and JAGEX LOGIN PAGE's adress! Not too hard! Also you need time!

By the way...many people have learned ALT+F4....you can also press ALT+W and the Internet Explorer closes! Though you cannot do this on OPERA,FIREFOX or NETSCAPE!

Okay, this might sound totaly noobish because the game i used to play was client sided too, its called MapleStory, Anyway back to the point, This would take a master cheater, but supposedly my friend was a "Private Hacker" wich meant somehow he masked somthing he wanted the server to do, with somthing it regularly does and sent it, thus the server accepts it thinking its somthing its supposed to do and does it, idk if this would woork, lols but im using my brain at least a tad bit. So basically what im saying is..

Is there a possibilty, that a EXPERT hacker, could mask lets say (im using fake codes btw, just to give u an idea) But lets say the hacker sends this in
<Gain Exp from npc:Rock Crab=200>
<Rock Crab drops = 200,000,000>

Or somthing like that, i understand the server does it but isn't it somewhat possible to corrupt the server into thinking somthing else, Btw please dont call me a noob or somthing because like i said earlier this is just a thought and an honest effort

 

Client Sided means the game data runs from your computer. Meaning it could be hacked in a heart beat. Server Sided is when the game data isn't on your computer.

 

Yes but the server sends the client information, Isn't it possible to edit the clients reaction to the server inorder to corrupt the response from the client to the server?
