There is more to the situation than you know. Whether or not you want him banned is superfluous and while you may have an opinion on the subject, it is not needed or wanted.

Neither, thank you. I was pulling my own weight in the UE and when Pen was promoted he offered me the job personally. Up until the day I had the job, I didn't talk to him once.

If he was a normal member, would he or would he not of been banned on the spot? And then the case would of been reviewed.

 

Why are we treating moderators differently?

For one, there is motive for people to fake proof against them to get revenge on them. With normal users this is much less likely. There is also a lot more that revolves around staff members since they know much more than normal members and because we have a sense of trust in them. We also do not want to ban staff members wrongly because it makes the forum look bad, and effects how well the site runs since we lose a mod.

Every mod has banned someone wrongly before. They dispute and then we understand what happened and they get unbanned. With a mod, what is happening is normally much more complex and takes a long time to figure out. It is also way more important that we deal with this issues as they do have power and even if the evidence against them is not great, we have to investigate further so that if indeed they should not have power, we remove it from them.

 

Dang, he was one of the best mods around. Hopefully he gets remodded. =S

 

Tengauge seemed like one of the better Moderators but certain activities people claim he does are suspicious.

You may not need the feedback, but honestly what kind of site doesn't want feedback? Yes we, the community, do not have a direct say in staffing decisions, but stating we shouldn't give feedback is pathetic.

 

We do not need or want your feedback on this issue because you do not know all the information that we know. Therefore you can not make a good, fair decision about this issue.

If you wish to ignore our feedback why isn't this thread locked? Obviously some staff members are interested in hearing feedback from the members they serve. We may not have all the information, but we have the general reasons from a few sources. See below. :O

 

I was demodde because of fake evidence against me saying I leaked some shit I did NOT.

When the situation came about for the Guide I was told if anything I would be banned from the User guided section, which I simply said fine then be it.

I'm not going into full depth. But I have provided evidence to counteract what evidence was said about me to be leaking.

I want it locked. There is nothing productive going on here. Teng just told you guys more information, so you might understand better now. Rumors mean nothing, and we do not want to hear the members opinions on the matter because it just creates more e-drama. Which is bad.

Seriously guys, don't bother. It's not really worth the effort. All that these threads ever amount to is a giant mob vs. the mods. The mods give little information about the matter (which is fine) and everyone speculates from that tiny bit. Then everyone gets their asses handed to them when some mod calls them out. Then the thread will be locked. It's going to happen in this thread soon.

Of course, if he does get a ban/perm demotion, don't expect any juicy information. They have decided not to leak the reasons for other mod bans.
