Temporary Robotzindisguise Thread

You download from http://www.robotzindisguise.com/
Go to 'My Robot' Type in user and pass, Download.
When you extract i think you're supposed to get a .jar file and that's the bot.
Correct me if i'm wrong.

 

Yep, thats where I downloaded it. When you go to your Robot Page, what version do you see?

 

Trigger, for me it shows up as 3.03 on the RID page, but when I download it is the new one.

So delete all your cache files and cookies etc and download it again.

 

Ok, I did that and re logged into My Robot section. It still said 3.03 but I downloaded it anyway.

It is the same thing that I downloaded before...

trig - This is usually caused by your browser renaming the ‘jar’ file to ‘zip’. To fix this just change the file extension back to ‘jar’. For Windows users, go to Tools > Folder Options > View (in Windows Explorer or My Computer), then uncheck ‘Hide extension for known file types’, click ‘Apply’ then you can rename the file extension by right clicking the file.

There might be a rain check on the finished alch and tele parts till tomorrow. I've decided to add two quite large additional features into alch and one into tele. They will improve things a lot but it will mean a bit of extra time is needed, not much though as I'm already more than half way through today so expect it to be ready tomorrow. The beta version of tele, does a good job although it may not be perfect yet, it's certainly extremely human, much more so than in past versions already. It is not as reliable as it will be when the bot is officially released, but it's up there for people to get some points in advance of the other games coming out, and to give an idea of what to expect from the finished article. The only problem you could have is with it terminating early.

I can't figure out where you're supposed to pay... When I go to the my robot section and log in, it says out of credit. So how do I get credit?

 

Good to see you Trigger, it's been a while. I personally have not used the bot since V2, or the very first V3. It's been too long. Haven't been keeping up with the thread since I stopped playing RS. Just waiting until the PC bot comes out to see how that is. Anyways, I might just download the latest version, whatever it is, to waste the rest of my hours on. V1 USERS UNITE!!!

 

Even when I clear everything, it still

It says V 3.03, but it's not when you download it's the new bot.

 

I cant download it, it says out of credit... Im assuming that means I need to pay, but I don't know where to pay...

And my computer shows it saying 3.9 btw...

 

i would like to know when the free trial will ever come?

 

What do i rename the .class files im having the same problam as trigger.
When i try to rename them .jar is still says could not find the main class file.
When i set the files to open with \Program Files\Java\jre...\bin\javaw.
It has three different folders:
Jre1.5.0_12
Jre1.6.0_01 ( theres no "bin" file in this one)
Jre1.6.0_03
and the other 2 still dont let it open.
As you can see i am having big problams i would like a quick reply please.

When i select the the bin/javaw file it comes up with the icon that says is it cant read the javaw.exe file.
I am really missing this bot so would you be able to help me out.

 

ur not suppossed to rename the calss files but first downlaod the robot again and then rename the zip file to a jar file without unpacking it then it's supposed to work.

(i had exactly the same problem be4)

 

I'll try it now I will let you know how it goes.

It works i can open the bot but it doesnt start i have done everything it says on the site i think theres a problam with vista.

Robotz clearly stated that you will not be able to buy hours for the bot until its full release.

 

Sorry about that geniuscatdog, still working on the bot just now. It's only available to current members at the moment but will be back on sale hopefully within a couple of weeks.

Just uploaded the improved Tele along with Alchemist minigame for people to check out. There may be a few changes made before the final version is released but only minor cosmetic details. As well as being more diverse, unpredictable and more human than in previous versions the alch game hasn't lost any of it's infamous speed and efficiency in achieving points and xp (At alchemy skill level 100, approx 200 Pizzaz and 80k Xp per hour). Note that your bot will steadily improve it's rates of points and xp as it's skill level raises, the more it plays.

I will now focus on my e-mails and sorting out any problems people have been experiencing. Thank you for your patience.
