I still don't know which account I'll use,
so I won't ask customer support to change
the username yet. I don't mind waiting for
the new bot to coem out.

suf i had this bot since v2 bro. i have been pleased with it my whole time that i have used it except for the long wait times in-between updates. If RID ever needs help meeting a deadline and has a friend help him with the debugging and scripting nobody would fault him if he charged a little bit more for the bot because he had to pay his friends to help him meet a deadline.

Its easier if he tests himself because he could figure out what is wrong faster, since he coded the entire thing.... He should charge even more than what he is now, since he just rewrote the entire thing... lol

yah well beggar's cant be choosers and this is the only MTA bot on the market atm. and its not like im scripting my own shit you know? well i guess rsbot said they had something in the works

course not i was just stating that rsbot has a MTA bot in the works as well. i was in no way saying that it would be any better than RID's. Btw anyone know what happened to rooneyxx or sex or even shootin h00pz or the dude with the yankees signature? seems like its just suf and a couple other diehard people still posting regularly on this thread.

It's awesome how much work you're putting into this bot, Robotz. It will surely be an amazing program once complete. But I keep thinking, all this work your doing to make this pot perfect for MTA, and Jagex is surely aware of this... I bet they aren't just sitting around waiting for the bots to come. I'm sure they have a backup plan as well. It seems to me that all Jagex has to do to throw off your bot's directional functioning is only to change a few colors or graphics, thus resulting in you having to rewrite parts of the script to make it work again. Much more effort for you, barely any effort for them. It just feels like, to me, that Jagex will keep countering your bot by easily tweaking various features in the MTA. Does this sound likely to anyone? Or am I just being paranoid.. :\

I am in no way giving Robotz shit about this bot, I've been a customer and a proud partner to the organization for a long time. I'm just thinking in the ways Jagex may approach this.

 

Robotz said he completely redid the whole bot, it now looks for 3d objects and not colors. So this means
1)it doesnt matter what brightness you play on.
2)simple updates like color changes will not affect the bot.

 

Yes, I am aware of that. But I was simply stating some vague examples. To be more specific, maybe Jagex could alter some of the 3d objects in MTA. A slight alter that wouldn't quite be noticable to the human eye, but would throw off the bot's navigation.

What I'm really trying to say, is, Robotz works hard to write script to work in parallel with the current MTA. Jagex can easily, simply, and quickly counter that by changing small details which make all the difference. Differences that only human could asess. Jagex can easily toy with Robotz, making him work hard to patch graphical updates, and repeat.

 

Can't wait for the release, I have $20 in paypal for 200 hours that I've been saving, hopefully it really does come out on the 1st of September lol

 

Well, would 200 hours get me from 94-99 magic?

I would only auto 4 hours a day(I really don't want a ban at 94 magic do i?) I'm wondering if It would get me 99.
