Well, outside of MTA, you can just use bones to peaches tabs. And it really doesn't look like the speed boost is worth nearly double nats. As for making money and xp with the bot - what im doing is, i get - 6k enchant, 550 alch, 500 tele, 500 gy. That gets you a good bit of xp. Then I check and see which makes more money - Mage book or infinity boots. Last time, boots at med price was worth mage book at max price, and it used less points.

Guys, if you are a new RID user then your bots "skill" level is lower compared to that of mine or someone else who has been using since V1. As time your bot will increase "skill" and therefore speed up the process.

Pielord, be careful what information you say on here as Jagex watches it.

According to my calculations the best item to purchase with your points is infinity boots. SELL THEM AT MAX aswell.

    Temporary Robotzindisguise Thread

It's been a number of days since the last time I heard of anyone being banned. As predicted, nobody new to V4 picked up any black marks.

There were 8 bans in the first three or four days. 5 given to known RID users (people who'd picked up black marks somehow with V2 or 3, on either the same account, or from the same IP address) who it appears each received between 4 and 5 black mark infractions. 2 were given to people who'd trained to 99 magic with earlier versions of RID without picking up any black marks, but then tried to sell those accounts here on Sythe. They had both been posting on this thread talking about botting activity, while at the same time publicising their RS accounts. In both cases, there was more than enough info for Jagex to single out a username from their account selling threads. These two accounts would then have been watched, and banned within a few hours of arriving at the MTA. These two got 10 black marks. The other ban was given to trigger, who in a less obvious way, gave enough information about his in-game botting activity for his RS account to be singled out.

From trigger's ban it's safe to deduce, Jagex have developed a database that stores the following information for each session/day spent training at the MTA: username, minigame, time started, time spent, point earned... amongst probably a few other things. Trigger posted exactly how long he'd been botting that day (right down to the second - from his bot's timer), along with what minigame he was in, approx how many points he got, and when. All Jagex would have to do is, perform a search in the database to find (most likely) only one single person that day who trained for within a few seconds of trigger's time. They then would have seen the minigame matched the one trigger said he was doing, the points earned matched, and the starting time matched with the time of triggers post. The chance of someone else having played the same minigame at the same time, for within a few seconds of the duration reported by trigger, and picking up the same points as trigger, even across 100 worlds, is absolutely negligable. Even if trigger hadn't given so much detail, these four pieces of info together could be enough to single out just one RS account from in-game activity, and identify a bot user. Cheap, but effective, it seems obvious they'd use a process like this.

Generally, there's no need to panic. It's only an effective tactic as long as we're unaware of it. People have been sensible, and there's been no bans since I put the warning out. Vague information (whether you're talking about your RS account, or your in-game activity) is fine, but anything detailed (for example, giving away your full stats, or exact number of points earned) should be avoided, or else you just might be giving away your identity.

I've heard one or two reports of the bot being slow. With the new bot, your ping is important. The bot is in constant communication with the RID servers. If your connection to the internet isn't stable, the bot, at times, may be slow. I'm going to look into it in detail over the next few days, I'll add a system for the bot to display ping, and maybe set up one or two more servers in other regions, so everyone can get the best out of the bot, but anything you can do (upgrading the speed of your connection, or cables, or plugging in directly to your router) to decrease your ping in the meantime, will improve performance.

Yeah you're probably right. A little too specific about what I bought, but the points I mentioned were the exact amount needed to get mage book, nothing too specific. Edited my post anyway lol.

Edit: Robotz, consider putting a new server somewhere in the southeastern United States pl0x.

Jagex are monitering activity at the MTA. It's clear they have a database that stores, minigame, time spent, time started, number of points earned, number of Xp earned, etc. Avoid giving away any of these bits of information, or you might well end up being identified. What does that small sentence reveal to Jagex? It tells them you were in alchemy today, during the time leading up to the post, for a period of around an hour, and during that time did approx 500 alchs. If they lookup and see only one possible match from their own record of in-game activity, (and your bot has been running slow, making the chances of you being the only RS account matching that data, very high), then it would be enough for Jagex to single out one RS account name.

If the bot was detectable, yours wouldn't be the first ban we've had in a while, many people use this bot every day. Every case of a 10 BM ban (4 in total now) has coincided with the recipient posting enough detail of in-game activity (or RS accounts) on this very webiste, for Jagex to single out a username. Maybe that's a massive coincidence? Or the bot is so good now, that it's a bigger risk to admit you bot here then give away bits and pieces of information that can be used to identify your RS account.

EDIT: RS2, even if the account you are selling isn't the account you bot on, you have still compromised your IP address. I've given quite a few warnings about giving away any information that compromises your identity the past week. Anyone who posts on this thread is a target to Jagex, don't make it easy for them.
