Stay away from using it until RID comes back. I may have been suspicious because after V3 went down I didnt play until about 2 months ago...then I started using the MTA soon after trials came out.

I sent one appeal in and if that doesnt work...im gonna change my IP and wait for Last Chance.

If y'alls bots where running slow, anything like mine... It performed slowly and no human would play slow like that. That is probably the cause of the bans. I am going to wait until the dedicated servers and go from their. I hate to hear of all the bans though

 

Just hold off from botting for a few days and actually play RS...that way you lower suspicion.

Yea me to, I was pretty damn close to Barrage too. THose bastards. Anyway, hopefully my changing IP and appeals will work. If not I got to find a nice trusted person to sell me a halfway decent account.

If anyone knows of a possible Tank Ranger (60+ Def 70+ Range), acc with godsword, or with 94+ magic. Let me know lol.

Its legal I believe. I actually havent done it yet, was hoping someone knew how lol. I will probably just google it later.

The server is not down that I know of. Its just in the process of using a different one to speed things up.

Sorry to hear that you all got bans, good that i did not bot this time. I guess ill just transfer those hours to my pure and macro with it.

So i suggest u all do the MTA by hand for now.

Wow, that's bad news trigger. I know you've been using RID since V1, did you ever get banned with a previous version?

Anyway to sum things up. We've been using the bot for 2 months now, with no bans, then after the first day of release two 5bms, and the day after that, the first 10 bm ban since May of this year.
It is extremely unlikely to be a coincidence this started the day RID was released, meaning, it's probably J-Mods specifically targetting us again, who've waited till the release to try to deduce who is using the bot, by whatever they tools they have at their disposal, including offense history - if they were organised, they could even have been using the beta and watching us for a while. All of you have in common, you were using the bot now for the past 2 months or so, whereas 50% of people using the past two days are new. The two people banned yesterday had been caught with V3, whereas the vast majority of people online yesterday had no record of being caught with V3, so statistically it's unlikely it was in-game activity that alerted them to you. I'm not suggesting you were banned for being guys with a record of using RID, in the MTA at the wrong time - but it's possible, and I'm hoping that's all it is. If not, I'd expect to see new members being caught, and very soon, which has not happened yet.

Similar to V3, Jagex's action seems to be orchastrated to send out a message, rather than a realistic attempt to stop people training to 99 magic this way. If it's anything like V3 it will blow over when they feel they've delivered that message, and it's no longer a worthwhile way to spend their resources. V3 withstood a spate of bans, it saw about 25+ people banned in the first few weeks of release, one day for whatever reason Jagex decided to give it up, and without updating anything the bot ran for months without any bans. Obviously, I'm not satisfied while anyone at all gets banned. We are yet to see anyone who never used V3, or anyone new to the bot pick up a ban, but I think the most likely scenario is, nobody is safe right now, Jagex are watching. It's early days, let's keep an eye on them too and see what they do next.

I'll update the alch game, and a few more updates today. I'd say the safest game to play at the moment is Telekinetic, after that, Graveyard. Enchant and Alch are the ones I think need updating the most.
I know Trig and Morphis were doing alch. What minigame were you playing skillza?

I'm not an expert on bans, but my advice is, before you appeal, don't post anything here. It plays into Jagex's hands if indeed they do want to send out a message, but more importantly, it gives you no chance of appeal, since in order to win that you'd have to convince them they didn't just ban someone who was using RID. The less Jagex know, the better.
