Temporary Robotzindisguise Thread

3.01 is out, and this is the most hardcore update to date.
All communications containing your RS usernames are now 128-bit encrypted and encrypted again on top of that. This is incase Jagex were hacking or intercepting traffic, if they weren't it's good to be able to virtually rule it out anyway. Passwords are not transmitted at any point. The reason I suspected this may be the case is shortly after an RID login a J-Mod jumped into the game less than a minute after I started the bot, I was able to get away by sending false usernames of non bot-users logged in at the MTA, and logging out of RS, he may not have been after me it could have just been complete coincidence, but if it was a coincidence it means he was just randomly world hopping (no other bot users were online at the time). If it wasn't a coincidence it means they have been illegally intercepting traffic intended for the RID server. If he was randomly world hopping you guys should be pretty safe if you avoid coming online during these times.
There was a problem with V3 with the automatic system to detect CPU speed that was causing the mouse to move faster than intended, this is now fixed and looking more authentic than any I've ever seen.
There has been a news system added to the bot to keep you up to date on J-Mod sightings, what times they come on and what action they are taking if there are any more bans.
I have also put in place a system to moniter hours used per day, and give advice, and possibly in the future restrict those who use it too much, or if people accidentally leave it on for too long. But for now it's up to you whether you want to take that advice or not, but remember it's all there on the server now and will be coming to the My Robot page, along with other stats, soon.

The actual gameplay may still need tweaking in areas, so there will be more updates soon too. And I promise to get through all of my e-mails/pms tomorrow.

it is extremely buggy. it will log in, observe the statue, and just put my cursor over it and move a bit.

hmmmm, it stopped working last night and this morning it still worked but now when i click start it just doesnt do nything? is this me or what? i tested on 3 computers :S same thing

 

Get ores: Which game are you doing? I think alchemist, graveyard, and enchant, work fine...Telekinetic doesn't though...

 

Hey RID, I've got a bit of a problem with graveyard. I'm using the bot with a laptop with 128mb RAM, and if I'm correct you have made the mouse movements slower for rubbish computers like mine to allow less lag? I was wondering if you could make the movements slightly faster for graveyard because I think the health is getting a little low or something and the bot is walking out of the arena or dieing? sorry I didn't see what happened exactly as I was having my breakfast. I will test again later but i'm busy for the rest of the day so I don't have time to check again now. So basically, graveyard for shit computers doesn't work properly.

EDIT: sorry I forgot to mention it did work for about 50 points, then I came back and it was logged out and javaw.exe wasn't running in the processes.

 

There appears to be a bug in the encryptions affecting a few people. If you are one of those affected the bot will just stop after you click start.
Don't worry I know the cause of the problem and will sort that out today, and I'll put in an option to adjust mouse speed manually too if you prefer to set it a bit faster or slower.

Give him some time, these things don't happen overnight. His main priority is to decrease the chances of you getting banned and he's working on that. When he finishes the bug you'll be informed.

rofl im retarded i think, thank you robotz for figuring out my credit hours problem, but when i download and stuff, when i try to log in once its downloaded, it says version 2.01 instead of 3.01 and it says error connecting to server when i try logging in

 

Is it just me or is the mouse speed a tad too fast?

 

I think the computer speed detection is a tad off one some systems so he will be perfecting it and maybe adding a bar to control your own speed, and also an option for different things like mouse or touchpad emulation etc.

 

mine wont work, i clic start then it checks if running and then it stops... ffs since i bought v3 (the day it came) it has been full of errors, (enchant, Tele, now this one), but i understand how hard is to make a bot like this, hop u fix it soon.
