Tell the CDT what to do 2.0

Specifically what do you think are the current problems/benefits of the team, what is working/what isn't working, how can we fix it, what do you want to see more of/less of from the team, and just your general opinions on the CDT.

You need to put #NoMansSky into a sub-section to a main section called "Other Game Discussion". You guys are doing a great job creating content to fill it up, but there is almost zero possibility that game would be more active than #Overwatch and that section has 16 threads after a month of letting it sit.

Instead of focusing on one hit or miss game; fill in reviews, tutorials, and resources to the hundreds of games getting released on Steam. That will begin generating traffic because #Sythe will become a useful resource. People will come to the website if you have the resources like No Man' Sky, except making it a main section is a mistake. Then you'll have to create 100 more main sections. Focusing on one topic like No Man's Sky will take months to figure out whether or not it's going to gain traction on the site. Put it in a sub-section, advertise the 16 threads of content, then begin working on a new sub-section game. Try to create unique content.

This is a semi-serious discussion, but im2lazy to fix all of my grammatical errors and I don't want to insult your intelligence by lecturing you on how to do SEO/grow the community since I've already mentioned this in a previous serious post.

You could have asked for me to make a post in your feedback & suggestions thread. I would have structured in a lot cleaner fashion than I would while posting in the SPAM section. Plus I don't want to come off as rude or arrogant; I only type that way in the spam forum while I'm silly.

The tech core's working, the CDT isn't working

 

PR and CDT not being the same thing is stupid as fuck. Community development includes both external and internal shit. You can have people on the CDT that focus on external things and others that do internal things. Having way too many groups only causes issues with what belongs to what group

The only things CDT should be doing is doing the bitchwork for TCT. They should advertise their work and organize it. Then on top of that, they should encourage outside growth

Also 3 community teams need one forum with 3 sub sections where each team can view ALL but only post in their home section
