tank staker--need your help

ok i got a tank staker with

62 hp
78 range
40 def

those are all the stats that matter im 65 combat

only thing is im wondering if I should get 50 def for granite?
and how I should stake

 

you also need 50 str to wear granite armor

 

isnt that just for the weapon?, arg

 

no im pretty sure its to wear th armour too...just get 50 str..it shouldnt affect your cb lvl.

 

get 80 ranged 50 def 90 ranged 60 def

get more like 70+ defence, and 80+ range. Stake all armor on except for helmet (incase other person has veracs), ammy (unless u have fury), boots/gloves (unless u have highest boots/gloves), ring (because range hits fast so recoil would be devastating if they had it).
You should probably stake mage off range on melee on with xbow or better.
Stake prayer pots and food off, and try to get movement on. Also if you can, try to get obstacles on but don't keep trying to keep obstacles on because the opponent will most likely leave.
STake really small at first but as u get more cash move into 100ks, then mils.
