Need Advice!

I'm trying to get high range on my 1 Def pure, So I decided to do NMZ W/blowpipe but i'm wondering what range level would 50k Scales And Steel darts get me with 76 range, Using Overhead prayer with super ranging

50,000 scales
2 scales used every 3 shots
= 75,000 shots
Let's say you average 100 exp per shot with the blowpipe. This means you're looking at approximately 7.5m exp.

 

It's not worth using the prayers that give a range bonus as it will make it cost alot more, I would also recommend using a Magic Shortbow (i) instead as it will cost alot less and will only be a few thousand exp less an hour make sure you use rune arrows.

 

Money isn't really the problem. I just want fast levels

Agreed. Faster, but as a cost. Not sure how much you're willing to drop on this, though.

 

100 xp is far too generous when using steel darts (or blowpipe in general), considering that's 25 damage per hit. Realistically I think it would be closer to 30-40 xp/hit on average, so you should get around 2-3m xp. If you just want fast levels though you're much better off chinning..

50,000 / 4,000 = 12.5

12.5 x 145,000 (your average xp for 4k scales) = 1,812,500

So that 7.5m xp guess is about 6m off

 

if you have the money, chin. a lot faster, efficient and you'll gain way more levels faster. may be a little more expensive, but if money isn't a factor than that's your best bet

 

I personally used addy darts, but go for mith darts because it's pretty good exp/hr

 

Range isn't really long training to 90. So to save some money i might aswell chin at 90
