Going to be reporting Tanged for selling a RSN he doesn't own.

Approached him asking what RSNS he had for sale, I proceed to ask for information in regards to the name, where it seems he doesn't own the name nor knows anything about the name he is selling. In addition he has told other members interested in the name inconsistent information.

To continue the report, the RSN "Mia" is not on a 42 Str/1 Attack/1 Def build as he stated, the build of the account with the RSN is:



He would not provide a screenshot of ownership nor provide a in-game-confirmation.

These all would be assumptions if it weren't to what he told @John Devola




So first he tells John Devola the RSN is on a Voider, then tells me its on a Obby build?

Lastly, the name was not acquired from the name release as he told other people. If it were, you would see a previous RSN when added on a friendlist (You don't)



He could of moved it to a fresh account hypothetically as an explanation of an absence of the previous RSN symbol . That would have to mean the account would be level 3, but the account is level 109. Which would mean from the date they released names with the letter "M" (March 27th) he would of got to level 109 in 7 days which is impossible.

Placed a TWC on him, for clarification he doesn't own the name Mia, he owns a different 3 letter name.

 

1. Obviously we now know the name is not Mia. So the Voider comment could make sense? IDK shady

2. I'd be interested to see where he got the 400m quote from and what he told them the name was @Mootrucks

3. In addition. He told me, elite (and one other I believe) that the name was Mia at ~3:00AM. He showed Moo a different name 30 minutes ago (4:30 am).

This is significant because he knew he was getting reported by @Elite Dust and obviously wanted to rush to get the name verified by a mod before the report was filed. If Elite had filed this report and he was asked for proof and couldnt provide, I think stronger measures than a TWC would have been put inplace. Up to @Mootrucks discretion, I believe he said he would still TWC. However I think if he was asked for proof the burden would be a little different instead of running to get the name verified by a mod and having the alibi of "oh I wanted to tell them a diff name"

 

I really don't believe TWC is sufficient, a DNT or a ban is more than warranted.

Lets recap the things he lied about

• The name itself (it wasn't Mia)
  
• The account build the name was allegedly on
• How he acquired the name

He apparently showed Mootrucks a different 3 letter name, this doesn't add up at all. He only did this AFTER me and John told him we were planning to report him. He told us he would show the name to a staff member, but the staff member said he showed him a different name ?

Shows a different name after the report has been made @ approximately 3:40 AM . With no explanation to why he showed a different name.

 

I think he's incredibly stupid and got caught in a deep lie, he claims he stated it was a different name as he feared it would be sniped, which doesn't make it any better but as I said before after reviewing the whole situation I don't think he's being malicious and I still don't which is why I feel a TWC is right instead of a ban.

Will leave this open for another staff members opinion.

 

Already spoke to moo on skype do whatever you want; I dont have to prove anything to @Elite Dust @John Devola .
@Tmoe I am sure mootrucks can send your all the screenshots of everything I sent him.
This was a honest mistake on my part but the punishment does not fit the mistake at all.
- the name was on a voider (confirmed with moo)
- the name was transferred to a obby mauler (confirmed with moo)

Not gonna bother explaining anything else.
No scam attempt took place.
I just wanted quotes for the name sale. (from a similar name temporary)
- I get everything I sell verified
With all the shady name sniping you guys do its not crazy I dont want to share the name until the name is transferred onto the new account.
Not gonna bother playing this game of E-Detective.
Everything I did made sense and had a point.

@Tanged Even though your explanation does not make sense, you said you lied because you were transferring the name at the time. Please provide screenshots of both accounts where it says "time till next free name change".

 

You are not staff. I have nothing to prove to you. I sent all information to mootrucks 100% clear screenshots. I did this to protect myself from scummy name snipers like you and I advise anyone else do not tell anyone your complete name until you 100% trust them.


All I did was try to find the price of a name by asking quotes for a name I thought was of similar if not more value. I've been deemed TWC and untrustworthy because of this. Every claim @Elite Dust other then me wanting to know the price of the name Mia and what he would pay for it was 100% false. I have already proven that I did transfer the name just then while inchat on skype with Mootrucks. Mootrucks has 100% of all screenshots for 100% context.
-the name was on a voider (proof given)
-the name was transferred while in chat with mootrucks literally seconds before I got him to confirm it. (proof given)
-I do not deserve TWC.
I have had enough with @Elite Dust faulty and conspiracy filled detective work.
I cannot even sell a name to you since you are DNT.
I didn't attempt to sell anyone anything. (no way to sell something I dont own when it requires me verifying ; That I have it by a MM)
You guys can read all the chats since they posted it.
I clearly state that I will ask tmoe or mootrucks to middleman and verify and trades.
Since everyone wants to know what the original name is it was ***. Which was to be sold on a account with the name inorder to protect anyone who purchased the name.
It is natural to be hesitant to give out the name of something that can be so easily stolen.

You can call me trying to findout the value of the name via inference whatever you like.
End of it is no one was scammed; no scam was intended; no one got hurt; all I wanted to do was to findout how much a name is valued by making a inference off a similar name.

The account is on a baby obby mauler and will be traded via a MM.

 

After reviewing the case and speaking with Tanged, I share the same feeling as Mootrucks. This was not of malicious intent and he simply wanted to protect his RSN from being sniped. That being said, there are better ways to go about this and lying to people was not a good option. I do think TWC is warranted and should be able to be disputed relatively soon.

So I requested this to be re-opened just because I believe another case of dishonesty was left out.

Now I would like Tanged to provide ownership of anyone of those names.

I'm going to laugh if he shows a different name and tries to get away with it again.

 

So first apologies to @Mootrucks and @Soul, talked with both extensively this morning and above screenshot was from last night (@Elite Dust saw my convo and it was the 3rd pic of it that I didnt post, thats my bad). Didn't mean to go around anyone or step on any toes, just woke up from my nap and saw this. Also again, not to go around them, I will be posting the discussion between me and Tanged this morning. So that any mod who is considering his pardon for his TWC can have all the information available.

First my thoughts on the names above, its possible. Not 100% sure it warrants anything if he does or does not have one of those names and I would suggest any mod who verifies any of those names not to reveal he has one if he does due to the nature of the rarity of the name (unless its k9, tell me plz).

What worries me is the below picture



For two reasons.

1. He DID try and sell me the name, I was actually going to bid on the thread. I play a lot of league and Mia is a dope name to have in this context. After our convo, I was about to post a 300m bid on his thread later that evening until this whole hubub came up. I know he only wanted like 200 or something but for Mia I wanted to snap up that shit right away and was wondering if he'd sell it to me immediately (since I expected it to go higher than what he wanted for it). This is pretty much the definition of a bait & switch regardless if the name has the actual value of 300m or not. I'm not bidding based on actual value, I want the name. I may not want some other name.

2. "I wanted to see how much it would go for"? I mean thats fine and dandy but.... the reason for not giving me the correct name was that he "didnt want it sniped". Kinda shady yo

Again this isnt to step on anyones toes, specially those mods I've already talked to. This dispute was closed and I was fine with that and the final decision. Since this dispute is reopened this is soley to add facts to the case and if the original decision is upheld then I think that its whats been decided and I will stick by that. This is to put all the information on the table for mods who may have been not privy to this information / mods in the future who are looking at this as needed to decide on a removal of a TWC

 

@Tanged you have 24 hours to provide proof you own one of these names.
