Talent or Hard Work?

Is it talent or hard work that determines how far someone can go? This concerns just about anything; sport, IQ, academics, artistic skills, singing etc. Talent is the natuaral ability of someone, hard work can include environment such as where you live, how you were raised etc. Here is what I want to discuss:

1. Which of the two is more important? Talent or hardwork? Why?

2. Do you beleive there such a thing as talent or natuaral ability? Why?

3. Can you give some examples of sucessful people and relate them to talent or hardwork in determining how far they suceeded.

You need both to go anywhere in life. If you have only one your not going to be good at anything.

Both are important because one cannot get everywhere on pure talent alone you have to work at something.

As for natural Ability I dont believe in it because people who are good at one thing were introduced at an earlier age or a fast learner but other than that no.

you need to have starting talent and use lots of hard work to get it going.
my parents say Effort is more important.
