Sythi ~ Sythe's Currency

So, currently on Sythe there are a lot of markets & trading going on across multiple games and multiple platforms. Someone might be selling 30m Runescape Gold in exchange for 5k WoW gold while someones selling a level 80 account for 50m Runescape gold and so on.

Not all trades are fair, as not all currencies are the same. What do I propose? Sythi, Sythe's currency.

Upon signing up, users begin with 0 Sythi. They can purchase Sythi for a conversion rate of x in national currency/1 Sythi. Then, when they sell items on the market, instead of saying "Selling 85 Priest - $200" they could simply say "Selling 85 Priest - 125 Sythi" then they could take this Sythi, turn right around, and buy something in RuneScape.

With Sythi, users will not only be able to avoid PayPal but the Sythe staff & community will easily be able to spot and stop scammers. Instead of having to link to possibly fake proof, staff can see what exactly went on in the transaction. And for sellers to avoid timewaters/scammers/browsers, people can check your Sythe profile for how much Sythi you have.

Maybe the staff can hold events or contests where they give away Sythi. They could start a "Jobs" forum where users can complete quick assignments for others in exchange for Sythi. Such as answering questions, finding data, homework help, coding help, designing a signature/layout/banner, etc...

To me, Sythi sounds like not such a bad idea and it wouldn't take much too implement (you could take a vB Karma script and mod it into "Sythi").

Do you know the difficulty behind coding a currency such as this? You would have to keep up with conversion rates and you have to make sure it is secure. Who is going to run this, because this is a lot more complicated than a donations system because you will have to 'cash out'. Will never work.
