Well Sythe is already doing runescape botting, account/item/gold trading ect. We're not alowed to do that, but we do. And the server would be known here and known here only.

 

Yes, but thats just a TOS violation. Private servers are copy right infringement thats why rsbot.org got shut down.

 

Well if its on this site, and this site only. Fagex won't be able to see it so therefore cannot shut it down

 

Says who? Jagex? People need to learn the difference between laws and Jagexes rules. Do you really think Jagex would leave Sythe if it were illegal? I'm not saying that they like what we do here, but there's nothing they can do as long as we're following the laws.

For private servers... that's illegal unless Jagex approves it (which I highly doubt they will). Many of the files needed for private servers is protected by Jagexes copyright. If we used it they would have an excuse to sue us.

 

Well Jagex aren't alowed to veiw sythe, right? Its in our terms or something. Thats how we've been getting away with the account selling, trading, ect

 

It's copyright infringement, and there's already enough of these around.

 

They could just say an anonymous source told them and no we can do whatever we want as long as it's not against the "real law." Not jagex's rules.

It's bad enough to waste money on a vps on something that'll eventually get shut down soon.

Sythe.org has been here for a awful long time, and i don't think the staff members want to risk getting it shut down.

1 little excuse is all fagex needs to shut us down.

Everytime fagex sees the word sythe or sythe.org they grind their teeth, and bleed.
