Sythe's Busy Server -> How to Get Around it.

Alright, some of you may already know how to do this, but it works really well for me, and I've found that it helps quite a bit. Careful when doing it while making new posts/new threads/or sending pms as it may try and double send them.

Firstly, find a thread which you are trying to go to:



When you click it, and you get the busy server, simply click the back button:



When it loads, click the thread you are trying to go to again:



The thread should load right up:




If it does not, simply repeat, and keep trying... At max, it should go on the third attempt to load.



Hopefully this will end the madness over busy servers.

Lol, it's not a way around it, it's simply the server is only busy for brief seconds at a time, therefore giving you the appearance you are actually getting around it.

Ah, but I can rebuttal that.. Because if you get the busy server, and then click the index link, it gives you the busy server again.

 

I do that it seems to work very well.

No, lol, I've clicked the Quick Links tab and randomly clicked on something, and oh, the server isn't busy anymore, I've clicked on PMs, and oh, the server isn't busy anymore, it's only busy for a few seconds, that's why it doesn't always work on the first time, after it isn't busy, then you click it, and it tricks you into thinking you actually did something, there's no way around it. Do it when the site has been down for an hour or two, then I will believe you.

 

I think it's just random.

 

I've gotten it to work after a 30 minute one, but an hour or two? Haven't seen those yet.. Normally it just gives you the internet can't display page.

you can mostly do that from common sense, but I have another question, why is our server always busy?... (I know the obvious answer) duhhh..

but this has never happened to me on other, bigger forums using vb. That is, these run on vB right?

Dude not too put ur thread down but its not Rocket Science But its a nice guide for those who dont No this lmfao Takes a long time for it too reload. Just look at the times took him 5 mins to reload his in pic.

 

^ that's cause I had already typed this out and decided to add more. It was already loaded when I started making this thread.

 

That's basically refreshing the page..
Sometimes going into the "archives" (very bottom right corner) works as well.
