Sythes biggest trade?

Does anyone know what the biggest trade conducted via Sythe was? I've heard of someone receiving 10k cash in the mail. Were there any larger ones?

Also, personally what was your biggest trade? (Value wise)

Personally I haven't done a lot of trading. Y biggest was when I sold some soulsplit accounts for about 300$

 

As far as I know, the $10k trade was the largest single trade on Sythe.

Personally, I suppose the largest trade I've done was redeeming about $2300 in MP at once, if that counts.

 

I would assume some sort of MoneyPak redemption (as Chase said above me).

I don't know specifics but in the high 2k$ or someone selling max cash on Runescape.

 

My biggest trade was when I sold ~7b to shine20078, 10b to Alex2012, and 5b to Arcus all in under 2 hours.

I personally don't see the point in spending $10k on some discontinued item in my virtual game but hey each to their own.

It's an investment. The virtual "game" has the same or even better investment than some virtual stocks or similar investments.

 

From the looks of it, it seemed like bedwetter was buying for personal use rather then to resell it.

 

If you read the thread though the person highs bought these jugs of wines ended up dicing them and losing most of them
To me that's just foolish and it seems to me he had more money then sense

 

Arcus , r2pleasant, viou and video are probably the title holders. But i know h1q2 or w/e his name is bought 80b from Rj in 1 deal. You gotta remember back in the prime of dicing owners and admins were making 100's of bils. I know personally ko profited 1 million usd off of runescape and owning dragondyce. Unfortunately he snorted/smoked it all away and has nothing to show for it. Most of the dragondyce and fishy hosts couldnt sell it fast enough bils up bils at a time. Unfortunately the owner of dragon dyce got addicted to coke/crack and completely destroyed his cash cow and lives with his mother. He literally has nothing to show for it. No car No money No house No savings NOTHING/

Back in early 2011, RWT bans simply didn't exist. Viou / myself would buy massive amounts of gold in a single trade from people. I personally bought 40B+ at a time from WinAllDay back when gold was 0.5-0.6/m. Trades were over $20,000 USD.

These days the market simply doesn't function that way. The risk of taking those amounts of gold is not worth the potential gain. Plus, sellers rarely pile up these amounts of stock anymore for the exact same reasons.

If I remember correctly, I think Viou bought close to 100b from winallday in one go. I don't remember the rates. It went something like after that trade, winallday suggested Viou to his hosts. I am however surprised winallday makes the biggest trades, I'd have guessed k0 would have blown them all away.

 

Not really. Although Dragon Dyce (2011) generated far more gold, hosts typically didn't keep very much (due to earnings being through commission), hosts would trade their entire stack at the end of the day to a bulk buyer. To avert attention from Jagex, hosts earnings were supposed to be kept private. Video & lynn absorbed immense amounts of clan gold then.

 

Hosts and the owner are different though. I'm sure k0 and DD made more gold than winallday and his hosts, but I don't think he made a trade as big as winallday. I'm sure most hosts moved their golds daily though.

Shame about DD, didn't think drugs would have been its downfall. Good luck with PS.

 

I'd assume that whenever a new rank bought in for 7b K0 would either sell it immediately or just have the new rank pay a buyer directly. Rather then hoard tons of gold. Xier0 would know a lot more about this tho.

 

In terms of gp (not necessarily real world value), it probably happened during the duel arena glitch. They were dumping gp fast so i'm sure some asian company swallowed it up.
