You need to wait a few seconds after pushing the play button, the client has problems loading Java, but the new version I have planned for release sometime next week loads everything just fine and is far faster as a whole.
Yes, VB2010, and the way you make one is the same way that you make them in any other version too. Split the plain text array of numbers the site references to and parse them into categories for each skill/game. You could make a 2D array within the application to have a cell for each skill too if you wanted.
Can you also tell me how to just add java to a form like RuneScape (NO WEB BROWSER) in VB2010? Thanks
Can you make it compatible with a netbook screen? 13" Screen, 1024 x 800 px.
Wow, this is amazing, I'm soooo going to download it when it's complete.
Just a question, can you not make it so much like Swiftkit?.
Please, make your client for a bigger resolution.Swiftkit took a very common design that was used in most clients before it, it not easy finding a spot for everything on one window. If you've got any suggestions for a new layout, by all means tell me![]()
Update:
SytheClient will now be following an MDI-type layout.
Just for those who aren't exactly tech-savvy, MDI applications involve a frame application with a bunch of smaller windows that can be used inside of it. Here is an example:![]()
...Where each window represents another tool or game screen.
Why did you change it? What are the benefits?
Since the way the client was organized was such an issue, I wanted a way to have users create their own layouts, where they can put things wherever they want. With MDI, everything is in a separate window and can be manipulated in terms of size and location, so if you like your game in the middle and highscores on the right, you can do that or whatever else you like.
MDI also makes the client far faster. Since you're not loading every feature onto a single window, it takes less time to load and instructions are completed in a far smoother fashion.
For facilitated management of many windows open at once, I will make a window browser so you can jump to a specific window. MDI also comes with a cool minimizing feature, so if you minimized a window it would drop into a taskbar type area at the bottom of the screen.
If anyone is familiar with Photoshop, that is a prime example of an MDI application.
PLEASE NOTE
Layout is the way things are organized and is not a theme or skin. Themes and skins are visual only, but will also be added in the next revision.
Like the MDI, did you re-upload?
Can you remove the minimize, maximize and close bar at the top?

Talk about regression...
Don't you remember the Sytheclient Cheater made that used MDI?
People won't like it. You need a good interface to lay tools by the side of the game screen... not something overlaying it that needs resizing. Too troublesome. You need something like widgets that can be moved and snapped in place around the game. Just what I'd say from experience... but that'd obviously be a bit more difficult programatically. It's your call, good luck.
Defiantly!
Im using it now. Its great.
